Join us by using your favourite option in your creation.

To be eligible to win our prize, or top-3 spot,

so we can understand why you like it so much!

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'rabbits', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the bunny from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember the main requirement in creating is

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite: Square or not (cardbase shape) & why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

While I love a shaped cardbase, a 6" square really is my go-to cardbase.  I find it's not too big to fill the space, and I prefer the square to a rectangle.

I make mostly A2 sized cards which measure 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".  I think the reason for this is its cost efficiency.  I can get affordable A2 envelopes and 2 cards from one sheet of card stock.

I've been a rectangle girl for a long time, 5 x8 to be exact, my favourite size and shape..

I use 6x6'' cards more than anything else. I find this size is ideal for my dies and images to fill the card without being overpowering.

I love making square cards. Most of the time I use 13,5 x 13,5 cm, but I also love working on a smaller card very much. This card is 10x10 cm. With a square card you have enough room to create a little scene and I just love the look of them. I also love it that they are easy for my photos on social media and my blog. ;)

I make both rectangle and square but square is my favourite as I'm able to use a whole 6" sheet of which I have many!   A 5"x7" always means having to use two different sheets leaving many oddments of which I also have too many!

I am a square, pure and simple!! I LOVE symmetry so squares satisfy my need for order and in this case I've gone completely square!!

My most favorite card base is rectangle. I don't know exactly why? maybe because of my big stash of rectangular card bases and (coloured) envelopes.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
