This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Big or Little Bows (& why).
your Favourite Big or Little Bows (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:
I'm definitely into my double bows, so I'd say the bigger the better! I love satin ribbons (I have a whole array of 15mm wide satins in all the colours under the sun) and love matching them to my papers.
My favourites are small bows they are just so dainty and
always fit the project no matter the size of the project and also make perfect flower centres too.
Brenda
I usually go for small bows. I think they just add that super cute factor. They also make it a little easier to mail.
Elaine
I prefer small bows. I think they add a little dimension to what would be a plain project.
It's little bows for me because I love how cute they look and they are perfect for tying on a sentiment tag
Lori
Lorraine
It's small bows for me, I find them easier to tie and not so bulky for posting too.
Mojca
I love to use big bows because they give a special touch to the cards. I especially like to use them on baby cards and this one is made for a special baby girl.
Sarah
I always think bows add bulk to cards which need to be posted so rarely use them.
However, when the need arises, and the card is to be hand delivered, I use the not too big and not too small pegs on my bowmaker as you can see here...
Squirrel
Personally, bows are the frippery of the devil, so I avoid them wherever I can, but I had to use one for the challenge! I prefer little to large, but, awkward as ever, this one is sort of medium!
Suzette
I did this little bag as one of my demos in one of my craft shows and I I love adding stings and making them into bows.
Wilma
In this case my favorite bow is little. I think it depends on the type of card if it needs a big or little bow.
So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite of our options.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to win the prize.
Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
