My other love after crafting is photography. I love taking photos of flowers in my garden and one of the most photogenic is the osteospermum which is a variety of daisy. They come in lots of different colours and varieties and I found this LOTV image of a fairy sitting on top of one to use for this challenge!

Although I've used blooms in my image and papers, it's the floral embellishments that I have chosen for my favourite.  I really love the Wild Orchid Craft open roses and white lilies.  I love their 3D effect and especially the pretty petals on the lilies.  I also love roses in my garden, and my favourite is called Sweet Juliet. It is an apricot colour and has an amazingly strong and beautiful scent.

Brenda

We have some beautiful flowers in our yard.  We have beautiful orchids, anthurium and bromeliads of all colours and sizes, some with amazing scents.  I have to say though, daffodils are still a favourite as they a sign that Spring was on the way.

Elaine

I love all flowers so it is hard to pick just one. I have chosen this cornflower paper and die. It has a lovely vibrant colour and yet it is delicate.

As a dutch person I had to go for tulips for this challenge. Spring is approaching and I am starting to see tulips everywhere in the stores. I love the shape of a tulip and I love seeing them in all the different colours. I have made a card for my my memory dex.

Lynne

I love lots of different flowers, but have chosen tulips.  They are a sign that we are seeing the end of winter, they look so regal in their displays and come in such wonderful colours.

At this time of year Snowdrops are my favourite flower. They are like little white beacons on a cold and grey day and, I always think, a hint that spring is on the way.

I have a few favourites, but for sentimental family reasons, I chose a dog rose this time, I love the simplicity of the flower form and it's wildness whilst still managing to look absolutely stunning.

I have a lot of favourite flowers. For this challenge I chose one of my favourite animal, stamp brand and flowers.
I live in the bulb region in the Netherlands and the bulb fields are so beautiful in the flowering season. I am lucky enough to cycle to work along some fields. Great scent and colours. Good start to begin the day.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Anne

I am a huge animal lover so would find it very hard to choose a favourite! My Daughter just got a bunny (Henry) and he's just so sweet so I'm going to say rabbits for this challenge. I used one of the new LOTV images to make this card for someone special

I'd say my all-time favourite animal is actually the tiger,
but when it comes to crafting I love nothing more than a cute fuzzy bunny!
I'm a sucker for anything cute, and bunnies top that pile!
I just want to scoop them up and snuggle them.
(and I'm less likely to get eaten by a snuggled bunny than a tiger!)

Dogs definitely hold a special place in my heart.  They are such loving, loyal creatures and have healing powers that I have witnessed first hand.

When my children were young we had a couple of rabbits, which then became a family of seven... We had fun with them, so we have a soft spot for bunnies. They are so cute and make ideal images for baby cards.

My favourite animals are mice. I love their cute look. I love using mice on my cards, especially when they are as cute as the one I used today. ;)

Normally I would say dogs, but this time I have gone with the ones I prefer to colour and that is bunnies.  They are so cute and also make good Easter cards as well as birthdays.

I love all animals (perhaps not mice though!!) but horses and ponies will always have a special place in my heart. My love for them was inherited from my Paternal Grandfather (Pop) who worked with them. I am sharing a scrapbook page showcasing my favourite picture of me and my beloved Surprise.

(firstly, big apology for the really rubbish photo, I sent the card before I realised I only had this quick snap).  Favourite animal for me is a Felis Catus, that's a domestic cat to you and me.  Apart from a very brief spell when I lived too close to a busy road, I have always had a cat in my life.  Not the same cat, obs, because I'm old, but a few kitties have shared my bed over the years.  I just adore their "I'll love you if I want to" attitude.

Definitely cats. I love their personality, their fur.
I don't have any cats anymore. Unfortunately. Every time when I see kittens or cats in a shelter I melt and make want to take them home with me.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
