At one time I never made a card without ribbon but I rarely add it now. Flowers on the other hand always make an appearance on my cards, die cutting them from patterned paper is my favourite way to use them

This is a tough one for me, because flowers and ribbons are two of my favourite embellishments.   Then I reminded myself of the original purpose of this challenge, which was to create things that made us happy; things we'd enjoy making and be proud to share.  So I decided I wasn't going to choose between my two favourite embellies, and instead use both!  I know it's kinda against the rules, but I decided that I wrote the rules for this challenge, so I'm going to allow myself to break them this week, because choosing one over the other simply wouldn't be right in my book!

I like ribbons and flowers, but definitely have an easier time designing with ribbon.  I have an extensive collection of this gorgeous textile and love using it when I can.  It's also a little more post friendly than flowers.

I use both ribbons and flowers a great deal on my cards. I think flowers are used a little more often. I love the different mediums that flowers can come in. I have used wood for this card.

Jayne
Goodness me, what a choice? How's a girl to choose between ribbons and flowers? I use both - lots :-) In this instance I went with ribbon as I thought flowers might be a bit fussy (if there is such a thing in cardmaking!)

Larissa

I don't very much embellishments on my cards and when I do use something it is ribbon most of the times. I love the look of a little bow on a card. I am pretty boring in my colour choice of ribbon, it is almost always white. :)

I often use ribbon on my cards, but when it's for a family member or a special occasion I love to add lots of flowers. I think they make a card look that extra bit special.

It's ribbon for me this time. I have many, many miles of ribbon in my stash. Every colour, width and pattern that you can imagine!! I love to use ribbon to add a little "something" to a card without the bulk, so that the finished item can still go through the post.

I have more of an affinity with flowers than I do with ribbon, although I don't use either that much really.  However, for this challenge I was going to make an effort and out came the flowers, only to find that my silicon glue is a solid lump in a tube!  So, I had to resort to flat flowers ..... (I can hear Red Leader grumbling from here)

Flowers for me.
For a special friend or occasion I like to make a card with a lot of flowers on it.

I like to use different flowers, buds and leaves.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

I'm a huge animal lover so it's impossible to choose a favourite.
Sweet woodland furries are high on my list and this sweet image from LOTV features 3 of the cutest!

My favourite animals are cats, in particular tigers. I've loved them since I was very young and recall researching them for a project at primary school.  They're so beautiful and graceful. The Siberian tiger is my favourite but there only a few hundred left so they're very endangered.

I would have to say that dogs are my favorite, but there are many close seconds.  I just love the way a pup loves you and and makes you feel so loved.  They are sooooo cute too!

Elaine

I love hedgehogs, they are so cute. There are so many images suitable for all occasions.

I really love mice (on stamps and cards :) ). My mother used to call me mouse when I was little and that was the starting point for my mouse collection. For years I have been collecting plushies, books, cards and all other mouse stuff I could find. Nowadays I don't collect the mouse stuff any longer, but I still love using mouse images on my cards. I just think they are cute with their big ears and sweet faces.

Dogs are my favourite.  They are so loving, great characters and always want to be by your side whatever you're doing.

Sarah

A tough decision for me to make here but I have gone with dogs.
I love their companionship, loyalty and the way our two make us laugh every day with their antics.

Surrrrrrrrrrrrpriiise!  Go on, you'll never guess what my favourite animal is (after cats of course).  Yes, it's a llama.

Cats are my favorite animals. I love to play and cuddle with them. They are so cute and make me smile.
