The winner of this challenge will be invited to be a Guest Designer for a future challenge.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite way to add ribbon(& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love using ribbon to hide the join between two designer papers and adding a double bow to top it off.

Samantha
I love to machine sew ribbon onto cards
why? because I think it adds a little texture too!

I love ribbon, yes, I'm a collector!  Honestly tho, I don't really use it a lot on my cards.  When I do, I like using it to add a bit of interest to my plainer cards.

Elaine

I am not very good at making bows! So I like to take the easy way and wrap the ribbon around the card and then to tie a knot often with a charm attached.

**coming soon**

Looking back, I don't use as much ribbon as I thought, but when I do and there isn't room for a bow I like to just wrap it around the card in a matching colour.  I think it adds that little bit "extra".

I don't always use ribbon on my cards but when I do it will usually be coordinating seam binding which is wrapped around the card and a bow(made on my Ultimate Pro) added to the left hand side of the ribbon. I think it adds just the right amount of "pretty"!!

I like this ribbon, and I like this ribbon - but I don't like using ribbon!
Ribbon is my bĂȘte noire, always has been, probably always will be, so when it comes to using ribbon on cards I keep it as simple and painless as possible

I don't use ribbon very often because I never like the bow I create. But when I want to add a bow I wrap the ribbon around the card and make a bow separately and attach it on the ribbon.  In this case I added a little bow on top of the other one.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase Your Favourite way to add ribbon(& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Along with the yummy taste, strawberries remind me of summer, picking them straight from the garden and eating them before they even make it back up to the house!

Samantha
I found this very hard to choose just one fruit as I eat most fruit
so I have cheated a little as I LOVE blue as many of you know so i have chosen blueberries
as my inspiration and used tones of blue in my Mermaid

Brenda

My favorite fruit is the lilikoi the Hawaiian name for passionfruit.  The bloom is beautiful and the fruit has a delicious unique flavor.  I love fresh squeezed lilikoi juice and lilikoi butter is so wonderful on hot pancakes.  Since I've never seen a lilikoi stamp, I used it's color, yellow, as the inspiration for my card.

Elaine

I love blackberries or as we call them in the north brambles. It is always enjoyable to pick them in the hedgerows and bring them home to make jam and jelly. Mmm I can taste it now.

Lynne

I like most fruits, but I love sweet English strawberries. When you start to see Pick Your Own signs etc. it means summer is here and Wimbledon will soon be starting and I love to watch the tennis.

Now I am partial to all sorts of fruit but my favourite fruit flavour is lemon...lemon drizzle cake, sherbet lemons, lemon cheesecake, lemon doughnuts, Thorntons lemon chocolates, lemon possett...need I go on!?

I'm not a huge fan of any particular fruit (would rather have a plate of veg) but
I do quite like a mixed fruit salad with a dollop of vanilla ice-cream.  It takes
me right back to my childhood and Sunday teatime.

Wilma

I love fruit. My favorite fruit is fresh pineapple. Delicious sweet and juicy.

So now it's over to you.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Favourite reason to make/send a card (other than a birthday! (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

It's Christmas for me, because I love all the excitement beforehand with all the decorations, plus it's a great excuse to use sparkle on your cards!

Well this is an easy choice for me I LOVE making christmas cards
so I pick Christmas.... I so love this Stamp and set I think I am going to be making multiple cards with this set.
I love making cards to say hello and remind my friends I think of them often.  I know I love getting unexpected "happy mail".

Elaine

I don't mind what occassion I make cards for. Birthdays are obviously the most popular but I do love making anniversary and wedding cards. I like adding hearts, gems and pretty embellishments.

My favourite are definitely Christmas cards as I love putting glitter and bling on them when I can and I tend to make them all the year round when I don't have much else on.

I like to make "Just Because" cards to send to friends that I haven't seen in a while or, for that matter, those I have never met!! Let's face it something unexpected is always a lovely surprise!!

My favourite reason for making cards, other than birthdays, is to celebrate
friendships - I have made so many friends all over the world (some I have never met but who are still dear to my heart) and I love to let them know I am thinking of them and how important they are in my life

Apart from making Birthday- and Christmas cards, I also like to make little 'thinking of you' cards. It's important to let friends, family or colleagues who are facing difficult times know that some one is thinking about them.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase Your Favourite Favourite reason to make/send a card (other than a birthday (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
