This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Pearls or Gems (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:
I am definitely a fan of the more subtle sheen of a pearl than the bling impact of a gem. I have pearl embelishments in almost every colour, and my gem stash barely gets used, so it's not difficult to see where my preferences lie! I've also added some speckles of liquid pearls around the image for some texture.
Sometimes a card is just in need of a few gems to add some sparkle and give it that feeling of extra! For this card, I chose gems as my fave.
My pearls are just the thing for feminine cards and I love them..
I love both pearls and gems. On this card I have used tiny clusters of gems as I think they look attractive when there is a large flower centre.
I really love using the mini pearls I used on this card. They are so cute, but still elegant. They are a simple but lovely detail on a card.
I use pearls a lot more than gems. I think they are so elegant looking and I have them in a multitude of colours.
I am most definitely a pearly girl. White ones go with just about everything, but they are also available in pretty colours with a subtle sheen that can be matched to paper pads too.

I love them both equally. It also depends on the card.
For this one I used black gems.
