This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Wild Animal (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

My favourite wild animals are big cats, and in particular tigers. I've always loved them, in all shapes and sizes, from the beautiful Siberian Tiger to the lovable Tigger from Winnie The Pooh!  For today's card I've combined this cutie from MFT with his sweater wearing safari buddies.

It's lions for me.  I love the way a momma lion protects her cubs and there is a special place in my heart for the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz.

Chrissy
So many favourite animals to choose from but I think mine has to be a Bear, I love all sorts of Bears especially out in the wild catching their supper..

Elaine
One of my favourite wild animals is deer. We are fortunate to see them almost every day in the woods and near the roads beside us. They are especially good for Christmas cards and male cards.

I don't think I have a favourite wild animal, I love lots of them, so this was really hard to pick just one animal. On my card for my memory dex I have used a cute hippo image. I I the shape of their cute face and this one with the large flower is really cute.

I like lots of wild animals, but one of my favourites are elephants. They are such gentle giants and it's very sad when you see them being killed for their ivory.

There is something really appealing about the face of a giraffe. I think it's their eyes that have such an endearing quality that makes them so beautiful.

You needed to ask?

I don't have a favourite wild animal, because I like most wild animals.
OK, no crocodiles, snakes and spiders.
I do like to see the beautiful wildlife series from David Attenborough.
During our Australia trip I saw a lot of 'wild' animals. In Steve Irwin's Zoo I had the chance to cuddle a koala. They are very cute and their fur is so soft.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Primary Colour (red, blue, yellow) (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm not really keen on bright colours, in particular red and yellow, but I adore a beautiful soft blue, so it's an easy choice for me.  This shade is so pretty and tranquil, and looking at my past creations, I use it a lot!

Blue is hands down my favorite colour.  I love the many shades it comes in, but my most favorite is the colour of the deep ocean on a sunny day.  It just makes me happy.

Chrissy
I love bright happy colours, and my living/dining rooms are decorated with red,yet my favourite colour is yellow, so I went with all of them for my scene.

Elaine

I love using all colours, but looking through my folders of cards I tend to use blue the most. I think I like it because it can be used in most card themes.

It was hard deciding which colour I like most, blue and red are both favourite colours. In cardmaking I love using red, because it is such a strong and warm colour, so I decided to go for red on my card. But with a little twist because this time I wanted the colour to be really soft.

Blue has always been my favourite colour, until recently when I seemed to have changed to purple, but I just love it when the sky is totally blue in the summer, it's beautiful.

It's red for me because I LOVE Christmas and tend to use red on most, if not all, of my Christmas cards. These were super quick to make using die cut patterned papers and red cardstock.

I do seem to be rather partial to a splash of yellow now and again, so why change now!  It's bright, it's happy, and it makes me think of Spring, one of my two favourite seasons.

I like all colours, but one way or the other I always choose something red. That may be (design)papers, clothes or things in my household. It's a warm colour.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
