This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your preference of either a Rubber or Digi stamping
You MUST explain WHY you prefer your chosen one of the two.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne

My paper crafting journey started 25 years ago with Penny Black rubber stamps. I have a huge stash and still love them but this last year I've had a bit of a bad neck so have found colouring difficult. I like using pre-coloured images if I can't colour or even if I just need a quick card - Lili of the Valley and Polkadoodles are my favourites

Although I appreciate the benefits of digi stamps, I really do prefer actual physically stamping with rubber. It feels more creative and I love flicking through my stamps to pick one.

Brenda
I use and love both digital stamps and "rubber stamps".  I love that digis are so versatile and easy to store, but...rubber stamps are still my favourite.  I love being able to stamp the image wherever I want it, I love collecting the stamps (let's be honest) and it's much easier to paper piece with rubber stamps.

I use both digis and stamps. Rubber stamping was my first introduction to card making many years ago. I still love the feel of physically making an image. Very satisfying.

Jayne
I love both but due to inky finger syndrome and my amazing knack to spend half an hour stamping only to stick an inky finger in the middle of my card at the final moment, I find digis a safer option ;-)

I love both digital and rubber stamps. They both have their own advantages. I love the techniques you can do with rubber stamps, like embossing. But I really love that you can decide your own size of stamp when you print a digital stamp and that you are able to mirror them to make a little scene even more perfect. I also love that it is easy storage with digital stamps. On this card I decided to use a digital stamp from Di's digi stamps, but for most of my sentiments I always use rubber stamps, just like I did today. It is easy because I don't have to think about printing a sentiment before I start making my card and you can stamp them really easy on your card when it is already almost done!

I love both and have chosen digi for my image purely for the reason of being able to re-size, but have also used a rubber sentiment as I like to emboss them sometimes.

Rubber stamps for me...it is where my papercrafting journey started!!

Digi?  What's a digi?  It's rubber all the way baby!

Difficult to choose, because I love them both.
The advantage of digi stamps is that you can print them in any desired size.
But for this challenge I stick to my first addiction and those are the rubber stamps.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

either Monochrome or Rainbow colours
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Anne

I do love to use bright colours but had some baby cards to make this week so I thought monochrome would be the obvious choice as I was doing pink or blue!

When I first started to think about the theme, I was leaning towards the monochrome. I have a tendency to  get a bit 'OCD' about matching colour themes with any embellishments, but when it came down to it, I realised that I usually opt for 2 complementary colours, like strawberries and cream or purple and green. So when I tried to stick to just a single colour, I couldn't create something I was happy with. Therefore, by the elimination of monochrome, I've ended up with a colourful creation; perhaps a little more colourful than my usual makes, but something I was certainly more comfortable with!

This "favorite" depends on the image and the occasion to me.  There seems to be a certain elegance that goes with monochrome, so that's my favorite today.

Elaine

A hard choice I like both colour and monochrome. I have opted for a rainbow of colour this time. I like lots of colour for youngsters cards. They are more interesting and eye-catching.

Jayne
I love the monochrome look - it gives a card a real vintage feel to a card.

Larissa

I love using the rainbow on my cards, so this wasn't a difficult choice. I love how the colours look together. I really like using bright colours and this image was perfect for rainbow colours.

Lisa

I think monochrome can look gorgeous, usually when other people do it!  I love to use lots of bright colours on my cards.

I love making this style of card and think monochrome shades make them look so elegant.

I LOVE colour, so it has to be rainbow for me!!

I'm not sure who the numpty was who thought of this theme, oh, yes, that'll be me then, so I thought I had better step up to the plate and make the monochrome option!

Colourful cards are my cup of tea. Lots of colours make me happy.
