Welcome to As You Like It Challenge
Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm "inner glow" of pride, without lots of entry rules.
Usually we provide options for you to choose from.
You just need to select and use your favourite option in order to join in.
For a chance to win our prize or top-3 spot,
you need to tell us why you've made your choice.
That way our team and readers can appreciate why it's your favourite.
eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'bunny', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi !
So get crafting and remember to have fun
and enjoy your crafting time.
Thank you to everyone who entered our last challenge.
Our winner is:

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Flower (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:
Although I do like a lot of flowers, roses, tulips and magnolia would probably be my top picks of garden flowers. However, I especially love orange flowers of pretty much any variety, so I've sneaked in an orange flower into my image, and roses into my embellishments for a double whammy!
I love garden flowers of any type, but I think my favourite is probably heirloom roses. They have a simple beauty, come in many colours. and often have a beautiful scent.
My favourite flower has to be Daisies, I love the daisies...
I do like the humble Daisy or Aster. There are so many colours and varieties.
I love the look of poppies and cosmos. Last week I made a card with a poppy, so this week I decided to make 2 little cards with cosmos. I love the look of these flowers and it was real fun to draw them my self.
I love most colourful flowers in the garden, but fuchsias are an old favourite especially in hanging baskets when you can see all their beautiful colours.
Although roses don't do well in our windswept garden, they have to be among my favourite flowers. As a girl I remember Mum and Dad had a glorious rose in the garden called Blue Moon that had the most amazing scent. I hope one day to find one.
The only flowers that I'm not too fond of are orchids and those weird ones that I believe translates from the German as "willy on a plate"! Otherwise, anything that grows in the garden is good with me.
I have many favourite flowers. Lilac is in the top 3. I love their colours and the scent is wonderful. We used to have a lilac tree in the garden with beautiful dark purple flowers.
