Prize:

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Die (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

For me it's anything stitched, but I really do like circle nesties. I have a fair few of them in different varieties (dotted, stitched, double stitched, scalloped ...) so I think this is probably a good choice although picking a favourite die is like picking a favourite ice cream - you can't pick just one when you have so many delicious ones to choose from!

Another impossible challenge, so I am going to show you my favorite new die.  I fell in love with this little panda, he's just so cute and goes together quickly when in need of a fast card.

Elaine

I have lots of favourite dies. This time I have opted for these heart shaped dies because they are very versitile and great for anniversary, valentines, engagement and weddings.

I have many dies, but my all time favourites have to basic shapes from Crealies with a stiched or dotted edge. I use them all the time on my cards. They give a nice finishing touch on your card and they are really versatile.

My most used dies are my stitched edge ones and favourites at the moment are MFT stitched mini scalloped.  I love them because they give a nice finish to the edges without being too fancy.

Favourite die...hmmmm...I think I can safely say that circles feature a lot!! In particular my Tonic Studios Scalloped circles, they make a rather nice circular card blank too.
This was like trying to choose my favourite pet, impossible!
I use a lot of stitched effect dies, and my absolute favourite of those are the
double stitched ones, this simple square is top of the list

I too have a lot of favorite dies. For this card I used one of my newest: bold stripes cover up. And another favorite is HUGS.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite die.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

The winner of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer for February.

This fortnight's challenge theme is a nice easy one to start the new year:
ANYTHING GOES!

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm on a mission to ink up some currently unused stamps that I've had for a while, and this little fella has been looking at me for a couple of months. I love his happy expression.

I enjoy many types of crafting.  At one point jewelry making was my favorite because I loved being able to give one of a kind gifts to my friends.  This bracelet was made using vintage beads which I love.

Elaine

What better way to start the New Year.

I have a birthday coming up soon and wanted to give my giftcard in a special way.

This was made just before Christmas for my daughter's friend.  I love making baby girl cards, you can make them look so pretty.

I still have my Christmas stash out so thought I would get ahead for next year using a Christmas present to myself!!
Love an Anything Goes theme, it has given me the opportunity to use a new
stamp and create a card for an upcoming birthday

I love my new stamp set and my new die.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
