Warm or Cool colours - which are your favourite?

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge
Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm inner glow of pride, without lots of entry rules.

REMINDER:

Usually we provide some options for you to choose from
from which you can select your favourite to join in.

For a change to win our prize or a top-3 spot,
please remember tell us why you've made your choice
so that our team and readers can understand the reason it's your favourite.

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'bunny', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember to have fun

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Cool or Warm Colours (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne
Using LOTV Bunnies Daisy Chain
Warm cheerful colours for me! I'm always pleased to see the back of Winter colours when Christmas is finished and I can start using lovely bright Spring papers again

Although I like blues, I do prefer warmer pink and golden browns in this cold weather.

Elaine

At this time of year it is nice to have some pretty warm colours. Nice to think spring is just around the corner.

Larissa
Using Little Friends Mouse with Daisy
I love warm colours on my cards. I really love it when an animal is coloured in warm colours and I also love this flower in the warm pink.

Blues and purples/lilacs have been my favourite colours for a long time so looking at colour charts I must be a cool colour person.  I do love to see flowers in these colours, they make a change from the normal reds and pinks etc.

I am a warm tone sort of girl, rich reds and russets are my kind of colours but here I have included a bit of cool blue as contrast.

Although I love the warm colours (you kinda have to go warm with many of the furry critters) I do love the sophistication of cool colours too, and cool seems to work so well for the male cards.  Blues, greens, and lilacs are so soothing.

My favourite colours are cool colours. Blue/green colours reminds me of beautiful seas/oceans. Beautiful blue skies and green for plants and (new) leaves.

Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is a very rare-for-us "Anything Goes".

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne
Using Earlie Hedgehog Butterfly and elements/papers from Horace & Boo

My current crafting obsession is making Junk Journals.
This one was created from packing paper.

Since re-learning to crochet last March, I have slowly been building up the courage to try amigurumi (small critters) and finally I settled on this pattern from MisAdventures of Alice for a Squidlet Ⓒ to attempt.  The first (pink) was a challenge but they have gotten easier and now they number 6 (Squidlet 006 is away on a secret spying mission and was therefore unavailable for the family photo).  My favourites are the chubby (out of focus, sorry) white one, and the little multi-colour chap just above his head.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is a simple one.
We have lots of Thank You messages to send after Christmas,
so we want you to showcase a Thank You project of your choice.
There's no 'favourite' to mention this week, just be free to create!

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I was dragged up proper and taught that saying thank you costs nothing but means so much.  I still believe that to be true.

I have made a series of small thank you cards. I like to give that with a small gift, it's gives an extra personal touch.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
