using Daisy Bear and Tutti Fruitti Papers by Amanda Jayne Designs
I'm definitely a fan of a huge variety of pretty patterned papers, particularly florals, and for today's card I've used some pretty citrus colours to match the colours in my image.

I love patterned papers.  There are so many wonderful choices both digital and hard copy.  ItÊ»s fun looking for the perfect papers to go with the perfect image.

I love my patterned papers, if I've made my own or used DP I love them..

I have so many pattern papers that I don't think I will get round to using them all, it would take decades. I just can't resist buying more, it must be an addiction!. Am I alone?

I am not a big fan of patterned paper, because I think it is hard to use. Most of the times when I use it I just use one sheet with a subtle pattern. But I also really enjoy making cards with just cardstock. Sometimes it is coloured and sometimes it is white and I am adding my own colour with ink blending. For our challenge today I decided to go for coloured cardstock, pink and white and I don't think my card needs anything else.

I have way too much patterned paper so I love it when a card comes together and I can put some of it to use.

This is the theme of my dreams because I LOVE patterned papers. I always pick the papers first and colour the image to match. I picked an old favourite Doodlebug Designs Frosty Friends to compliment the adorable image from Christmas Cuties

I'm a sucker for patterned papers, I love that they can add so much interest and pops of colour, I especially love it when manufacturers coordinate the colours throughout the range so I don't have to worry about which pad I take which paper from, I just know it will go with another

I have loads of patterned papers! I like to coordinate the paper with the image I'm going to use. In this case a birthday cat combined with paper with balloons and cakes.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Using Penguin Couple by Lee Holland
Christmas is my favourite crafting occasion for loads of reason but in this case because I love pingus and also like using glitter on my creations.

I the older I get, the more I realized everyday should be celebrated.  For that reason I made a Just Because card.  I love sending cards to friends that do not expect them.

My favorite non Birthday would Anniversary cards, any year I love them..
especially golden..

What better than  a welcoming a new baby to the family. I love making new baby cards, using soft pastels and cute images.

I love to make cards for a friends to let them know you are thinking about them. I love to use a simple hello or hugs card for that.

I'm trying not to make so many this year, but my favourite is Christmas.  I love heat embossing, glitter and all the embellishments that can go with it.

For my Non-Birthday project I have made a mini album. It is a great way to use up the not so great papers from a paper collection and goodness knows I have a lot of those!!

I'm another one who likes to make get well cards to cheer people up
when they are poorly - I made this one for a friend with Shingles, she said it
hurt when she laughed at it.  Oops.

My favorite non birthday card is a get well card. I like to let friends or family know that I think about them and wish them a speedy recovery.

So now it's over to you.

Your Favourite Pastels or Brights (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I tend to shy away from bright and bold colours, and my favourite colours are soft purples, blues and pinks so I've opted for pastels.  I've added in some creamy yellow flowers and green foliage, but have softened the contrasts in my image with some pretty pastel papers in lilacs and yellows to match my image.

The colours I pick usually depend on the papers I use.  The papers I chose depend on my image.  I thought this cute Bunny would look great in pastel colours.  I love the soft look.

I love bright and happy and soft and gentle, but usually mine are fairly bright, so made some
buttercup flowers which a fairly bright.

I love all colours and it depends on my mood and who is receiving it as to what I use. I have used pastels on this card which is the colours the recipient would like.

I am definitly a bright colours person. I just love how the colours pop!

I love how bright colours look against a white background.  I think it's because I don't make them very often so when I do it's a bit of a novelty and I love them.

Brights for me, cheery and joyful on a card and my clothing, based on having my "colours" done years ago, follow the same bright palette. Today I have gone for sunny yellow and bright blues.

Someone not too far away from here seems to believe that I favour the
brights, so just to prove that I can do pastels occasionally...

Definitely brights for me. I'm not fond of pastel or dark (black, grey, brown) colours. Colors can influence me. Dark colors make me sad while bright colors brighten up my day. In combination with black and white, the brightness of the colors is enhanced.
