This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Die (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I've recently had a bit of a rummage through my craft stash and reaquainted myself with some of my older dies. I really love this daisy border die which creates such an effective frame around an image, adding a lot of interest and texture while still keeping it fairly flat for postage!

My favorite die right now is one I received as a Christmas surprise.  I not only love it because it was such a very sweet gift, it is very versatile and I no longer have to cut my own "seed packets" for junk journals.  The set includes so many other useful dies.

I have so many dies I love. This heart die is one I use often for a CAS card. It is elegant and suits a DL size card perfectly. I also love die sentiments.

For many years I have been a big fan of the Crea-Nest-Lies XXL dies by Crealies. These are all kinds of basic shapes, and some of the dies have a lovely decorative edge. I use them very often on my cards, so for today’s challenge I made a card using these dies.

I do use many dies, but I really like my postage collage die.  It can be used as it is or cut up to create any style you wish.

Like Annette, I used this theme to have a look at my stash and make use of a die that hasn't seen daylight for a while. This one's been used a few times and makes a lovely feature on a fairly simple layout.

I love letter dies and these are my new favorite. I like the type! They have the perfect height and width and are so versatile.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Christmas would usually be my favourite crafting occasion, but as it's January I'm not feeling the festive vibe at the moment, so I've switched my allegiance to birthdays for today's card which is for my Auntie, whose birthday is next week.

I love making birthday cards.  I like being able to customize them for my friends and family.

Birthday cards are always a favourite to make. It is lovely to make a card fitting to the recipient. These cards are very special.

I really love making birthday projects. It is so much fun to make a card or little present for a special person in your life. And because you made something special for them, most of the times really will appreciate it. For today's challenge I made a little box for a chocolate bar.

Birthdays are the type I make the most and for family I like to make them relative to their interests.

Birthdays for me, particularly at this time of year where I have many family Birthdays. This one is for my Granddaughter Mollie.

My favorite occasion is a birthday card. I like to send birthday cards. These days, people don't send many cards anymore because stamps are expensive and the mail takes longer to deliver. It's easier to send someone a text or an email; it takes less effort. And most of all I love making cards and I find them more personal than a text or email.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

No sponsor this week - just for fun, free-for-all Christmas theme

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a Christmas project.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I've made this fat santa belly card from bright red card with some splashes of white, black and gold.  It was quite quick to make, and I love the fun design.

I used one of my most favorite digi characters, Birdbrain.  He just makes me smile and the sentiment is my sincere Christmas wish.

I love this poinsettia die used in a non traditional way.

My favourite christmas project is making tags for the presents I am giving to my family. It just a little lovely extra on a present.

I had to have a play with this new die.  I find it relaxing putting all the little bits and pieces in, some inked and some from scraps.

I've been cross stitching this year and made this...

I have lot of Christmas design papers and I had to use up some of the paper scraps. Found the inspiration on Pinterest. I love the snowflake, which I cut with my Cricut machine.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.
