Welcome to As You Like It Challenge

Usually we provide 2 or more contrasting options for you to choose from. 

Join us by using your favourite option within your creation.

you must explain why you've made your choice,

so we can appreciate why you're proud of your creation!

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'rabbits',

I'm not a huge sports fan, but one thing that does get my heart pumping amd muscles aching is gardening. We have a vegetable plot and have grown veggies in the past, but I admit this year I've not dedicated the time to it, so mostly I've just been weeding, rather than enjoying the garden.  I would very much like to change that next year, so we can enjoy picking and eating our own food again.

Brenda

I chose surfing as my favorite sport. It is one you can engage in most days here in the Pacific. Lately, it has been a great way to cool down too.

Elaine

I am not very sporty, but my family are. Cycling is their sport which is taken very seriously. They enter into E-tape races and engage in long distance cycles here and abroad. 

Lynne

I play tennis twice a week and have just started pickleball.  Tennis is my favourite.  I have probably been playing for about 20 years and this card is for one of our tennis friends who is recovering from an operation.

Sarah

My favourite sport is anything that's horse related and enjoy spending time at agricultural shows and watching the equestrian events. 

Wilma

My favorite sport is tennis. Since 2023, I have been playing at a really nice club and have a fun group of ladies there that I play with. We play league matches on Monday mornings. Many tournaments are organized at the club. I really enjoy playing tennis, but not watching it on television. I can't stand the groaning of some players.

Although I don't tend to send Halloween cards, I do enjoy putting up decorations for the Trick or Treaters who come to visit by the dozen each year. However, although today's card is not Halloween themed, I have used my favourite Halloween colour which is purple.  I am not a fan of orange and green, but purple is right up my street for any time of year!

Brenda

I love adding "spider belly purple" to the more traditional orange and black Halloween colors. It adds that pop of color and to me, looks less scary.

Elaine

I have chosen orange. I think it is lovely cheerful colour which can lift your spirit as we go into the dark winter months. It is a colour I don't use as much as I should. 

Lynne

I don't make Halloween cards, but purple is my favourite colour so I've added orange as these are two of the colours most associated with Halloween.

Sarah

I have gone with all the Halloween colours to make this note book. We've never "done" Halloween in our house but the colours make for a great combination.

Wilma

I love Halloween. In the Netherlands, it wasn't common to 'celebrate' Halloween but in recent years it has been growing. I enjoy making something for the children who come to the door. I also think the Halloween colors are amazing. (I love orange 😄)

I've picked a fox this week, because we regularly have them visiting our garden at night and I love seeing them pottering around the flower beds!

Brenda

Using Woodland Snowman image from RAM Stamps, 

Little fuzzy bunnies just steal my heart, especially the little kits. They not only look darling, I just love watching them hop about, checking out the world with their big, soft eyes.

Elaine

My favourite wild animal is the hedgehog. It is not scary but very cute. I love that I can see them easily in the countryside as well as the garden. 

Lynne

I do love Giant Pandas with their big black patches. They always seem so gentle (although they're probably not) and their fur looks super soft to touch.

Sarah

We live in a fairly rural location so are fortunate to get lots of wildlife visit us. My favourite is the hare. They are wonderful to watch and are hard to find in Dorset so it's quite special that we have them close by.

Wilma

I love cats, and the big version of a cat too. I find the male lion beautiful with his magnificent mane. They have such an imposing appearance.
