This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Bird or Beast (& why)
Just a reminder that to be chosen as our winner or Top 3
you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

First up, our fabulous Guest Designer for July and her beautiful card:

Marieke

Birds, because the summer and the warm weather remind me
of pretty birds with pretty colours.

Anne

I love both birds and beasts but my favourite at the moment have to be the adorable new mice (ssshhh, I don't want them to hear me calling them beasties) by Tracy Easson. The stamps all come with a story, I love mice anyway but she just brings them to life

I'm a bit nervous around things that fly or flutter, so for me it's definitely the cute and furries which win this contest, in particular bunnies!

I am a fan of both birds and beasts, but dogs are just my favourite, I hope you can consider them a beast.  There's nothing like that little tail wagging to greet you when you get home, they always bring a smile to my face!

Elaine

I love both birds and beasts, but I don't have a lot of bird images. So I have made a card with a fine specimen of a beast. He is great for male cards and Christmas.

Larissa

I like both birds and beasts, but most of the times I use my favourite beast on my cards: the mouse, so I had to use one on this card. I just love their cute faces.

I like both, but I have a bigger variety of cute beasts than birds and I do like cute.

Normally I would choose beast but in the sake of fairness I have coloured up some cute birds this time to try and conquer my fear!!

OK, so, I like watching the garden birds, and I am very fond of British species like sparrows, blackbirds (their song fills me with joy), robins, and starlings, BUT, if I have to choose between them for making a card then the beast in me wins every time!

I have no favourite for this challenge. I both like birds and beasts. So I chose my favourite beast: Henry the mouse. Such a versatile stamp.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
