Quite often I get so engrossed in the image that I completely forget to include a sentiment, but I've been really trying hard recently to remember the pesky things! My Stamping Platform was a real game changer for me and given me a new found confidence in stamping sentiments after I've coloured the image. Before I got it, I'd certainly never dream of stamping them directly onto the face of my image panel through fear of messing up the stamped image. However, that's exactly what I did with my card. The Stamping Platform means I can make a decision later in the construction, seeing how the card will look with or without the sentiment and also where to place it whilst knowing I won't mess up the card with a patchy inking.
I love using die cuts to add my sentiments because you don't have to worry about placement and there are so many fun dies to choose from.

I like rubber stamps to add a sentiment because I can place them wherever I wish and there is a great collection.
Most of the times I stamp my image direct on my card or on the shape that I use for my image. Often there is enough room and I love that I don't have to think about a solution where and how I must add the sentiment. And I agree with Annette having a stamping platform makes it really easy to stamp you sentiment direct on the card.
I often find that, after deciding how my card is going to be set out, I can't find a suitable place for a sentiment so I opt for small tags which fit nicely under a bow or with twine.
I used to stamp my sentiment on a banner or label but have, more recently, stamped direct on my card. Like Annette I am much braver using my stamping platform, if you make a boo boo you can overstamp without smudges...ace!!
My most often way to add a sentiment is to stamp it direct to the image panel. Unlike some of my teamies, this has never scared me and with the aid of an acrylic block I can usually get it straight! I have an enormous library of sentiment stamps now, but there is always room for more. I do love a sentiment with a good pun in it too.
As a bonus, I have added a stacked word die to this card, simply because it worked so well with the stamped words

I love to stamp the sentiments. Although I love my Misti tool I mostly add my sentiment on a small piece of paper. It's always straight and crisp and It gives a little more dimension.
