Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Since my favourite occasion is Christmas, it's got to be a festive sentiment for me.  My favourite sentiment would either be Merry Christmas, or Winter Wishes, but as I used Winter Wishes on my card yesterday, I decided to opt for just a plain Merry Xmas today.

Samantha

Well I have to agree with Annette my favourite occasion is also Christmas,
so my favourite sentiment is Seasons Greetings, I love this one as I have friends all over the world and this greeting works for them all.

Carol

I find it hard to show my feelings outwith my family and find some sentiments a bit over the top for me but when it comes to my grandchildren well anything goes especially ones like these. So meaningful and it's a card you can give, just because!

Mojca

My definetly favourite sentiment is from Vladka's Thought's sentiment set "Dare to live your dream" which I also used on my card. I think it says it all :)

Sarah

I found this little "Recipe" and have to say that
I think it just about sums up the feeling of Christmas!!

Suzette (the birthday girl!!)

I love all sentiments especially happy ones and this one can be used for all occasion.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Sentiment.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Hugs from the AYLI girls.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Flowers or Trees & Why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

We've had quite a few entries who don't say why their chosen items are their favourites, so please ensure you tell us why your creation showcases your style by telling us what your favourite item is according to the challenge theme.

OK, here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anyone who knows my style will know that I love adding flowers to my cards.  I expecially love Wild Orchid Crafts blooms as they come in so many colours and sizes.
I love to twizzle (technical word!!!) the green wires to create a coil, and arrange a set of 5 in decreasing size from the centre largest bloom.
I've kept the colour scheme simple on this card, so have only used cream flowers, but I have a huge boxful of different colours and sizes.  I also love the dimension they give to a card (until I have to stuff the card in an envelope to send it in the post!)

Samantha

My goodness this is a real difficult choice as I LOVE flower and tree stamps.
I have chosen flowers as I seem to have more of them in my collection so that makes me think I like flowers more thehhehhee :)
This is a new stamp and I just could not wait to play with it.

Carol

I love making cards with stamped flowers, I love Penny Black flower images and this is one of my favourites. It's called sweet pleasure.

Mojca

I love Wild Orchid Crafts flowers they are simply beautiful and make cards really special.

Sarah

I don't have favourite flowers or trees as such because they are all  beautiful!

My favourite flower or tree stamp?... well, that's a different story and it's this one, Zinnia .
I've used it in an array of colour combinations (this one being no exception)
for all sorts of occasions and it's just lovely every single time!

Suzette

I love all this floral and my favourite colour is red but also I love pastel colours as well.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Flowers or Trees.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using

your Favourite Shaped Card other than a Square & Why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I adore shaped cards, but for quite a while I've been drooling over a Go Kreate XL Die that makes the most GORGEOUS shaped card bases, so I used this challenge as an excuse to treat myself to it last week. This is my first card using it and, yes, I LOVE LOVE LOVE It.

This was a tricky question for me as I do love clean straight lines lol
But I have to say that when choosing a shape I love using Circle or Ovals
they are my favourites because they are symmetric and still look clean and unfussy

Carol
Love an Easel card for that special occasion  more card without being to big. Made it rectangle so I could use my new dies. Love them.

Mojca
I love doing all sorts of shaped cards, but little animals are my favourite. They are just so different from all the other shaped cards and also they are soooooo cute :))))

Sarah

Isn't it tricky to pigeon hole "favourite"?! Square is probably the most "convenient" shaped card we all use (with the exception of my lovely team mate Annette, who consistently uses beautifully shaped card blanks!!) but I think a circle has to be my "favourite". The reason came to me whilst  looking back over my past creations - I was surprised by how many of my cards feature stamped images on die cut circles!! So here's what I've made...

Suzette

Well I love all shapes, but I do love  Go-Kreate shape dies as they can be layered and make things easier, I like easy lol!

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Shaped Card (other than a Square).

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Hugs from the AYLI girls.
