I'm definitely a 'colour' fan, and even on a "grey day" I love to add some colour!  So my rainy day image features two of my favourite colours, aqua-blue and purple.

Oh for me it's definitely all about the colours
Why? well I think life would not be the same in one colour
Simple as that!

Brenda

I like monochrome, but I LOVE color!  Bright colors make me smile.

Carol

I love the challenge of monochrome especially when using colours, it's the balance of getting the shades of one colour to look just right. This is my favourite monochrome colour, just like my craft room, makes me feel right at home!

Elaine

Monochrome can have a very striking effect, but I do prefer colour. I love the vibrancy that colour can bring to a card.

Kat

Almost all my cards are in colour; there are so many beautiful colours and it's nice to choose colours to suit the mood and style of the image.

Lori

As you can probably guess, my favorite is COLOR...in fact, I believe I am addicted to color! :P I am an avid crocheter as well as a card maker and when I start an afghan, I am so excited to see it once ALL the colors are incorporated! SO FUN!

Lorraine

Colour is definitely my choice every time. I love bright and vibrant colours they make me happy.

Mojca
Definitely colour for me. Otherwise I wear only black and sometimes read coloured clothes, so I have to confess that crafts is my colour escape :P

Suzette
My Favourite colour is rose pink

Mojca

Sarah

Colour for me!! After all the world would be a miserable place without it and from a crafty perspective there are so many gorgeous papers that need images coloured to match!!

Wilma
No question about it: Colour.
Colours make me happy.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and

your Favourite Technique Lines or No Lines (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I have dabbled with the no-lines technique but it scares me still, so although I love it, I'm just not brave enough.  I think it looks fab when it's done well though.

My Favourite is Lines.  2 reasons; the first I have never had enough courage
to try no lines and secondly, in this case I am paper piecing so I need to see the lines!

Carol
Simple answer from me, I can't see them lol! So it has to be lines, bad enough getting it right on these kinda images.

Mojca

I love lines, they make the image pop out.

Sarah

It's lines for me. I like definition and lines give just that.  Lines can also make the colours on your card sing, as in this case.

Suzette

I do use mirri card occasionally, but as well as finding it hard to photograph I do prefer to colour coordinate my cardstock to my image (I think I've got an OCD !). I also prefer pearls to rhinestones as accessories. Therefore it's definitely a matt choice for me :0)

Carol

I like matt card and papers as I like to add wee bits of the shiny stuff to make the card pop. I think its more pleasing to the eye.

Mojca

You can't go wrong with matt papers, but I always add some shiny embellishments to make the card more interesting. so I really can't decide, but I think the dominant is definitely matt, also because it is so easy to take pictures!

Sarah

The possibilities are endless with a matt surface to work on. In this case I used a VERY matt dark grey ribbed card. It never presents problems when trying to photograph projects either!! My digi papers were also printed on to thick matt paper too for a touch of quality.

Suzette
I love matt cards and paper. I sometimes add a some shiny embellishments to the cards but that is as far as I take the shine lol!

Wilma

I always use matt paper. To be honest I don't like shiny paper. In my opinion it diverts attention from the overall picture. When the card need something shiny I add rhinestones.

So now it's over to you.
