Favourite (Mostly One) Colour (and why)

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge

Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm "inner glow" of pride, without lots of entry rules.

Usually we provide options for you to choose from.
You just need to select and use your favourite option in order to join in.

For a chance to win our prize or top-3 spot,
you need to tell us why you've made your choice.
That way our team and readers can appreciate why it's your favourite.

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'bunny', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember to have fun
and enjoy your crafting time.

Thank you to everyone who entered our last challenge.

So, onto our next challenge

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Colour (& why).
Your creation must feature mainly this colour.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

My favourite colour is a tough choice between purple and pink.  However, I wanted to make a card for a friend using this patterned paper because it reminds me of a fabric she has on some roller blinds in her 'she-shed' and every time I see the blinds I am certain it's the same pattern!  It's one of my oldest paper pads and has lasted more than 10 years because it's remained one of my favourites and I can't bring myself to use it very often!!!

I would have to say that recently, my favorite color to use alone is ecru/off white.  I love that the neutral color pairs so beautifully with other colors and has that shabby chic/grungy look that I have so much fun playing with.

For me, my favourite one colour or mono colours is WHITE
so easy to do and always elegant..

I am very fond of pink. I love those simple papers and cute image, ideal for welcoming a new arrival.

I do love pink, that is a colour I use very often. But I also love orange and especially Crackling Campfire Distress ink. I really love this colour, because it is really vibrant. I love all the shades you get from this colour, from a pretty yellow to a deep red. I also chose this colour because I wanted to colour with my Distress inks.

Blue used to be my favourite colour, but I have graduated to purple/lilacs.  It seems to suit me clothes wise and the shades from light to dark are always so pretty.

I revisited by blog for this one and found that a peachy pink features quite a lot so here is what I did with that colour and a touch of aqua too.

(so sorry I'm late!)  At this time of year my mind turns to Spring, and I find my makes are very yellow/orange based, such happy colours.

One of my favorite colours is light brown/sand. This paper from Gummiapan is so beautiful and comes in different patterns. It is a good match with this cute donkey.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
