This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Flora or Fauna and explaining why you've picked (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

There's no question it's fauna for me. I love animals and my house would not be a home without my fur-babies.  I'm not suggesting I'd be overly happy if my house had mice though, which is the critter I've chosen to feature on my card today, but he is a cute little chappie, so he has made centre stage.

I Have to say I LOVE flora and fauna so to choose is really hard!
I have gone for Fauna with a hint of flora haha if you can call leaves flora :)

Though I am warming up to Flora, I'm hands down a Fauna girl.  Just love all the cute little critter stamps that are so abundant.

Elaine

My favourite has to be Floral. Why, flowers can be the focal point of a card or an embellishment.

I love using both flora and fauna, but most of the time you will find a cute critter on my card. A real favourite is a cute critter with a flower, so then I use both. For this card I went for a cute little mouse, because they are my all time favourite.

I do love both, but for card purposes I usually go for fauna as they are cuter, although they are often holding small flowers.

I have gone with fauna (in every sense actually). I love flowers and foliage but tend not to reach for them in my card making.

Fauna for me.  Why?  I love animals, simples.  All animals, but here is
one of my favourites.

Hard to choose, because I love them both.
I go for Fauna, I love butterflies and ~lol~ couldn't resist the floral paper from My Favorite Things.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase Your Favourite Flora or Fauna (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Colour (mainly 1 but can have others (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

My favourite is a toss up between pink, purple and blue.  Since I've made quite a few purple cards lately, I decided that purple must be my (current) favourite, but this card is kind of a pinky purple, albeit with purple embellies :0)  I love that purple can be quite feminine, but also a really rich plum purple can look really elegant too.

I love blue best and always have.  I love it now because it is the color of the beautiful ocean that surrounds our little island.  The different hues the ocean shares never ceases to both take my breath and calm me at the same time.

Elaine

I love many colours, so this is a hard one for me. Today I have chosen a lilac/purple colour scheme. This colour has a lovely feminine feel. I love the soft shades which are so pretty.

I have many favourite colours, but at the moment I am really into pink. I love that it can be a really sweet colour when you use soft tones, but a dark pink can also be really fabulous!

Lynne

My favourite always used to be blue but I've graduated onto lilacs and purples.  I think it's because I associate blue with being cold and purple shades seem to be softer and warmer.

It seriously looks like my favourite colour is pink!! I have never favoured pink but having done a thorough look see at my cards it's definitely pink or a combination of pink and green...Mother Nature's favourite too!!

Squirrel
Like my other team-mates, I do like all colours, so the choice for this one was determined more by the image than any particular preference, although I am getting very fond of oranges and yellows lately.

I love most colors, as long as they are very clear and bright. But my favorite color is green. It reminds me of spring: the green of new leaves on the trees grass, hills, woods. The colour makes me happy.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

After a bit of thought, I decided mine were roses and so I'm counting the rose that the little mouse is holding as well as the rose bud and open rose embellishments  I use these roses a lot, and I also love using the chrysanths and lilies that also feature on my card.

**coming soon**

I have many favorite flowers.  I love daisies and sunflowers because they make me smile.  I love the orchids that bloom regularly in our yard, but for this challenge I went with the rose. I absolutely adore cabbage roses and antique roses because they are beautiful to look and and smell wonderful.

Elaine

I love all flowers so to choose one favourite is impossible. I decided after some deliberation to use my national flower. I love the colour combination and the texture.

I love many flowers, but decided to use a poppy on my card for this challenge. I love poppies because of their colour. I really like red. And they look really cute when you see them next to the road or in a field somewhere.

I don't really have a single favorite flower as I love ALL flowers...so I decided to add a card with an image that has a bunch of flowers LOL...flowers totally brighten my day and make me feel very happy inside. A girl can never have too many!

I love all flowers, but have chosen the rose as it is typically English and they come in many beautiful colours and varieties.  The fragrance of some of them can be gorgeous.

My paternal grandmother "Nanny" was called Daisy so I have always been drawn to daisies and, as the script goes in You've Got Mail, they are "such friendly flowers".

My favourite flower changes with the seasons - most of the year it is daisies, but in Spring there is nothing like a splash of colour from the nodding heads of tulips to make you think everything is going to be fine.

It's hard to choose, but the tulip is one of my favourite flowers. I live in the area where  tulips, hyacinths and daffodils are grown. And in March/April/May the fields are full of blooming tulips, hyacinths and daffodils. I love the colour, the variety and scent of these flowers.

So now it's over to you.
