Favourite Christmas Embellishment (and why)

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge

Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm "inner glow" of pride, without lots of entry rules.

CHALLENGE RULES:

Usually we provide 2 or more contrasting options for you to choose from.
Join us by using your favourite option within your creation.

To be eligible to win our prize, or top-3 spot,
you must explain why you've made your choice,
so we can appreciate why you're proud of your creation!

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'rabbits',
maybe the reason is that you love Thumper, the bunny from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember the main requirement in creating is
to have fun and enjoy your crafting time!

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Xmas Embellishment (eg snowflakes, glitter, bells) (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love sparkles and glitter on Christmas projects, so I've made a sparkler themed Christmas gift tag and added lots of ultra fine glitter. I love making these large gift tags to add to parcels when I'm gift wrapping.

My go-to Christmas embellishment has to be Twinkle Stickles.  I love the subtle shine it gives, especially to snow and Santa's fur.

I love these small poinsettia dies. They add a lovely pop of colour to a simple Christmas card. Poinsettias are my favourite Christmas flower.

Any sort of glitter for a Christmas card whether it's loose glitter, card or a ribbon.  It just makes it feel more Christmassy. I have put all 3 on this one!

I love a snowflake to embellish my Christmas cards, I have lots of different types of snowflakes, including  Stickers, Die Cuts, Buttons. On this card I have used a glittered wooden snowflake that compliments the patterned paper perfectly.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
