This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Monochrome or Colour (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:
I do like to stick to just a couple of colours in my cards, but I can never seem to restrict myself to just one by using different shades and depth for variety. I prefer to co-ordinate a few colours through into embellishments or, in this case, pulling a the dark purple from the image through into the cardstock matting layer.
Today I have made a monochrome card. I usually decide when I am sitting with my selected stash what I will make. This card is for a friend who does not like too much fuss.
I don’t often make monochrome cards, although they can look really beautiful. I just love using colour and creating lovely colour combinations.
Definitely colour for me. I just struggle with ideas for monochrome cards and if it's for a child I think colourful is best.
It's colour for me. I have Promarkers in all the colours of the rainbow, and some and enjoy colouring my projects with them.
I like monochrome cards but I do not make them often. A while ago I made this background in pink (not my colour :)) and in blue and in green. But I didn't knew what to do with it at that time. Now I finished it with a greeting and some butterflies. I love the outcome and colour!
It's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.
Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
