Favourite Masculine or Feminine themed projects (or both!) and why

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge

Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm "inner glow" of pride, without lots of entry rules.

Usually we provide options for you to choose from.
You just need to select and use your favourite option in order to join in.

For a chance to win our prize or top-3 spot,
you need to tell us why you've made your choice.
That way our team and readers can appreciate why it's your favourite.

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'bunny', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember to have fun
and enjoy your crafting time.

Thank you to everyone who entered our last challenge.

So, onto our next challenge

The sponsor of this challenge is

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite boy or girl themed (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I definitely prefer the feminine pink and fussy cards with lots of flowers, and this one includes my other addiction (cake)!  I've created an apron shaped card to match my baking theme by cutting out the corners of the card top with oval shapes and adding some ribbon between my patterned papers and cardbase.

Using Beach Bunnies by Last Minute Manda
Itʻs girls for me.  I love the colours and frills that you can use making girly cards.

Well, I like boys things, but I like girly things too,so I
made a beach scene using them both..

I like making both girls and boys projects. For this challenge I have a made a girly card, but it could be for a boy if the colours were changed and the flowers were omitted.

Most of the things I make are for girls/woman. I just love using pink (although you can use that for boys too) and I love using feminine things like bows and flowers.

I prefer to make for girls.  They are much easier and open to adding more embellishments such as glitter or flowers.

Girls for me, every time, I have so much girly stash that it is never difficult to make a card. This is one of a set, requested by a friend, made using magazine freebies and some black card from my stash!!

I used to be in a panic for boys makes, but not any more, I practically look forward to the
male birthdays in the family now.  I love that you can keep a male card clean and simple (men don't seem to be bothered with floof) and you can get away with a cheeky sentiment!

My favourite is girls. I like to add embelishments like flowers and/or bling to a card.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
