Your Favourite Snowman or Penguin (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne
Ooh, I think it's cruel to make us choose! I love them both and the Penny Black snowman that Wilma has used is one of my all time favourite stamps ever.
That said, if I had to pick just one I think it would be have to be penguins as they are just so adorable. I like to use black on my cards too so it goes perfectly with them. There are some really sweet images available and I love these mix and match cuties from Lili of the Valley

I have a real soft spot for penguins (from Pingu to Happy Feet to March of the Penguin).
We had a fantastic penguin coastal zoo located about a mile from where we live.  My husband and I had an annual membership and I loved going there to visit the little waddlers when we walked down to the harbourside, but unfortunately the zoo was a casualty of this summer's lockdown and sadly they have closed permanently.

I love both snowmen and penguins, but I think snowmen edge ahead just a little because they have so much personality depending on how you dress them up.

Snowman or penguins ? A hard one for me, I love both. I do seem to use snowmen a little more, so this time I have chosen snowmen. Why? I don't know anyone who doesn't have fond memories of making snowmen, they always bring a smile.

**coming soon**

I LOVE snowmen! There are so many cute snowman stamps out there to choose from. I would love it to be a white Christmas, just to be able to get out there and build a snowman or two.

I do love both, but Snowmen remind me more of being a child and building them in the garden.  We hardly seem to get enough snow these days, but I only really like to watch it from inside now.

I love snowmen, and ladies for that matter. It's the kid in me, I think, and the hope that just one Christmas will be a white one!!

Sorry penguins, it's snowmen for me - they just look so cheeky and happy (unless the sun is out)

I like snowmen. I love this snowman stamp from Penny Black, it makes me smile.
Snowmen bring back sweet memories.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Your Favourite His or Hers Birthday (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I always prefer making cards for 'her' and the prettier the better.
My Daughter is as far from girlie as you can get though and has just joined the police force so when I saw this image in the Polkadoodles Work & Play collection I had to use it.
There is a male version too so both options are covered!

It's safe to say that I much prefer making girlie cards because I can add some pretty embellishments.  Although I've not splattered today's card with flowers, I think it's still pink and feminine. There's a sprinkling of ribbon and lace as well as an apron shaped card-base to complement Maisie the mouse who's doing a spot of practice for an appearance on Bake Off.

I definitely like making girly cards.  I love the colors and all the wonderful feminine embellishments you can add to a females card.  I also quite simply use more feminine cards than I do masculine cards
.

Elaine

I think everyone loves to make female cards with flowers and pretty and cute images. So, I have chosen a male card for this challenge. I do like the challenge of making men's card. It makes me think outside the box so to speak.

Most of the cards that I make are more for female, but for this challenge I had to make a card for a little man. Today is my nephews 9th birthday, so I had to make him a card. I have chosen bright colours, and I hope he loves it (and the 8 other cards I am going to send because he has a lockdown birthday and cannot celebrate his special day).

It really depends what moon I'm in! Sometimes I love to make cards for men other times for ladies but who could resist this gorgeous girl for a feminine card?!

I much prefer to make cards for females.  I have a lot more suitable embellishments and always struggle with what to put on a man's card.

**coming soon**
Like most crafters, the majority of my makes tend to be for the ladies, but I do like making male cards, especially when those males are still young enough for me to get away with cute and cheeky.

Hers! Although I like clean and simple cards with less  or no embellishments I sometimes love to use a lot of embellishments like flowers, pearls or sequins. So very feminine. Male cards are sometimes a real challenge.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
