This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Colour (main colour of project, not necessarily monochrome) (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Pastels are my favourites, as I find them calming on the eye.  In particular I like blue, pink and purple.  I've chosen this pretty pastel blue because the card and papers are some of my favourites.  I believe the image might be a robin, but I've chosen to colour him as a chubby kingfisher to continue the blue theme.

Recently, I have been drawn to neutrals in the beige range.  I love that so many colors work so easily with them.  I particularly like the green and pink with the beige in these small file folders.

I like neutral backgrounds to make the elements stand out, especially slightly embossed effect papers. I can then add any colours to make my Christmas cards all a little different.

My favourite colour (in cardmaking) is pink. I just love the look of it. Bright or a pastel, it doesn't matter: I love it all!

Blues and purples have been my favourite colours for a long time, but I have stuck with blue for this card.

My main colour here is blue, because it's my Sister's favourite colour and I needed to challenge myself!

My main colour is green, because my favourite colour is green. I'll often use this colour for male cards.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I've often frame my images with my favourite embellishments of flowers and ribbon.  I love that they can bring out accent colours within the image and create a soft texture. They can be a little bulky for mailing, but I love the 3D effect.

I love using Stickles to add a little something special to cards.  It gives shine and just a little extra dimension.

I do like to add Liquid Pearls to cards. I think they are an easy embellishment that add a little interest,  especially male cards.

My favourite embellishment are my hotfix gems. I have many of them and love adding them because they are really easy to use and I love the look of them on my cards or other projects.

My favourite embellishments are either enamel dots or pearls, whichever suits the card best. For this one I have used sparkly enamel dots as I didn't have the right colours in pearls.

My favourite embellishment is gems or pearls because they are available in all colours and add a little bit of sparkle or shimmer without bulk. On these tags I have used clear gems to suggest snow.

My favorite addition to a card are sequins, preferably in different sizes. On this card, I used Studio Katia sequins; they're my favorite brand. They add a bit more interest to a card.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Although I've been trying my hand at colouring pencils recently (art drawings rather than cards) my favourite go-to medium for cardmaking has been Ranger Distress Reinkers, which I use as watercolouring inks with a dinky brush.  Watercolouring feels like relaxing therapy because it's quite slow while you're putting in all the layers!

My beloved Copic markers aged out and these days I am enjoying learning to use colored pencils.  I love that there are so many affordable options that go down smoothly and have a wide variety of colors.

I love to use alcohol markers for my projects. I love the range of colours and the blending qualities.

Coloured pencils are my favourite colouring medium. I love the look of the blended pencil and I think it is really relaxing to colour with them.

I use my copics the most. I have had them the longest and am more used to them than anything else.  I would love to try pencils but don't seem to have the time or patience!

Promarkers for me, they blend beautifully and last for ages. I've used them for so long that I know all the colour combinations that work.

My favourite colouring medium is Copic markers. I love the way how they blend. I do have all the Copic markers, beautiful colours so I have plenty of choice. I tried watercolouring but that was no success.

It's over to you.
