Favourite colour to Pair with Pink (& Why)

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge
Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm inner glow of pride, without lots of entry rules.

Usually we provide some options for you to choose from
from which you can select your favourite to join in.

For a change to win our prize or a top-3 spot,
please remember tell us why you've made your choice
so that our team and readers can understand the reason it's your favourite.

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'bunny', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember to have fun
and enjoy your crafting time.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Colour Combo: Pink + ? (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne
I love pink and it goes well with so many other colours. My favourites combinations are green or aqua so I chose the latter here. This image is from the LOTV 2020 Christmas launch which is out on Friday and I like the modern colours for a change rather than traditional green and red x

My favourite is pink and cream (yes I know I've technically added some green, but I figured that a bit of grass was permitted!).  I think that the strawberry and cream colours are so pretty together.

My favourite combination using pink is currently pink and grey.  I love the way the neutral colour allows pink to pop!

Elaine

Pink and green. I love this cheerful and pretty combo. It has a feel of summer and happy notes.

I love pink and green together. They are so pretty together. This is the perfect colour combination for a pretty flower card.

I love pink with any colour but I do think green compliments it well. I would usually go for a flowery theme with this colour combination but I decided to make a Christmas card while we are having such hot weather!

I love pink and grey together.  I think it's so pretty and elegant looking.

I have gone with green as Mother Nature makes such a good job of putting these two together!!

I've perhaps paired my pink with a slightly unexpected colour, and have chosen brown.  The reason why is that pink and brown together remind me so much of the "mallow cones" that our local cake shop used to sell, and they were always a treat for special occasions.  A blast from the past, although if you hunt far enough, you can still find them!

Pink is not my favourite colour, but I like the combination with my favourite colour green.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
