Our last challenge of the year is open for:
Anything Christmassy

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love wintry scenes for Christmas!

I love putting all the sparkle and shine of Christmas on my cards.  It gives such a festive feeling.  (But sometimes they are hard to photograph).

I love anything Christmassy..

Lovely traditional colours

This year I have been working on a big project: 24 days of Christmas tags, so my project for today is a Christmas tag. Love making and using them and I am really in love with the one I made for today. Really like the pink instead of traditional red, which I also love a lot!

Love this digi image, so easy to colour.

I am sharing an inviting festive front door.

A simple and colourful Christmas card. I love the Doodle bug papers.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite: Gold, Silver or Glitter (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm not a huge fan of using metallic card on my crafts, partly because it's so difficult to photograph, but I do love a sprinkling of glitter on my festive cards, particularly for snow.  My favourite is glamour dust, which is really fine glitter, and glossy accents to stick it on.

I love having a touch of sparkle on my cards, so it is glitter cardstock or glitter glue for me.

Gold for me, I love gold matt cardstock and use it often
for any occasion..

I use silver a lot more than gold. I like the bright shine on my Christmas cards especially the sentiments.

I love glitter, I love the look of it and how pretty it shimmers. It is perfect to use as snow on a Christmas card.

I do love to add glitter to a Christmas card, it's just a perfect addition for snow, but doesn't show up very well in my photo.  I've added it to the snow, snowman's pom pom and the little snowball held by the squirrel.

We are galloping towards Christmas so I used all three, gold, silver and glitter!!

Gold this time. I also love silver but I like this Stampin'Up paper very much.
I am not that keen of glitter.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Favourite Embellishment (and why)

your Favourite: Embellishment (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I keep returning to this card layout time and time again because I love the soft ribbon tied in a double bow and pretty paper flowers framing my watercoloured image.

I really like using some type of thin thread of twine to embellish my cards.  I love the rustic feel this jute gives this cute little scarecrow.

My favourite embellishments requires a season, so this season it is my pumpkins,
Halloween or just cute, I love my pumpkins dies...

I don't have a very favourite way to embellish my cards. It always depends on the image or recipient. I like using these stars especially for male cards.

I have a pretty clean and simple card making style, so I don't like to use bulky embellishments. I do love using my hotfix gems. They are available in many colours, sizes and even shapes and are really easy to use on a card.

I love lace and pearls to embellish my cards.  I use pearls quite a lot but styles change and lace seems to be out of favour in general at the moment.  I do like to add it to this type of card though as it makes it extra special.

I seem to have a bit of an obsession with hidden papervlips at the moment. They are brilliant for using up scraps of paper, fabric, fussy cuts and all sorts of bits and bobs. They are functional too and can be added to cards, tags, journals and folios. Here are some festive ones I've made using scraps.

I have a lot of favorite embellishments. I love to use thin twine with a charm. It gives something special to a card and it's not too bulky.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
