Favourite Die (and why)?

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge

Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm "inner glow" of pride, without lots of entry rules.

CHALLENGE RULES:

Usually we provide 2 contrasting options for you to choose from.
Join us by using your favourite option in your creation.

To be eligible to win our prize, or top-3 spot,
you must explain why you've made your choice,
so we can understand why you like it so much!

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'rabbits', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the bunny from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember the main requirement in creating is
to have fun and enjoy your crafting time!

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Die (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

This is an easy one for me, because I absolutely love my circle dies, of which I have a few with different stitching designs. But my most used is this simple single stitch design by MFT.  I love the variation of using a circle die on a square card, and the stitching is a lovely textured effect.  What did we do before these stitched edge dies became popular!

This is a tough one for me because I have so many dies I love.  I really enjoy all the fun panel or cover plate dies.  This reverse snowflake panel is a great one for making multiple cards quickly.

I have a few favourite dies, but I do use this one a lot. These are Sizzix nesting stitched squares. They are versatile and can be configured to make many designs.

Is it cheating when you favourite die is a new one and this card is the first card you used it on? I hope not, because I know this new slatted circle die from Craft addiction will be a real favourite for me. I love the look of it and I think it will be perfect on a lot of cards!

This arch die seems to be a favourite at the moment.  It looks good on either a square or rectangular card and makes a nice change from my usual shapes.

**coming soon**

My favorite die is the postage die from Waffle Flower. I love the versatility of it. On facebook I saw this card from Ingeborg Renze (she makes beautiful cards) and I needed a card for a newborn so I copied her card.

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
