Favourite non-card project (and why)

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge
Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm inner glow of pride, without lots of entry rules.

Usually we provide some options for you to choose from
from which you can select your favourite to join in.

For a chance to win our prize or a top-3 spot,
please remember tell us why you've made your choice
so that our team and readers can understand the reason it's your favourite.

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'bunny', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember to have fun
and enjoy your crafting time.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Non-Card Project (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I don't often make anything other than cards but when I do I really enjoy it. This was one of my favourite projects, some paper cacti and I was pleased with how they turned out

I really love making these supersized tags. They're great as a change to making cards, and lovely to use to decorate a present for someone special.  I've made the base shape myself using a stitched rectangle and oval stax die.

I sometimes make jewellery and I especially love being able to make custom pieces with special charms, like this one.

I enjoy making bottle tags. I think they make an ordinary bottle of wine look extra special.

I love making little gifts for people and this time I have made something for my sister-in-law. I have decorated a chocolate bar for her as a nice little gift. Because of Covid-19 we can't see each other very much and I thought it would be fun to give her (and my brother and nephews) a little gift. I really enjoy decorating those little presents to make them extra special.

This year I will be doing my Mum's Christmas shopping for her and I thought it would be nice to make sure she has all the wrapping paper, ribbon and tags too, so that's where I started....with the tags!

Just recently I have rekindled my love of fabrics. While looking for suitable fabrics for face coverings I found some really lovely Christmas fabric and felt so have made a start on some decorations. Quick to do during these darker evenings.

I'm not very well organized when it comes to present wrapping but, on those rare occasions when I do get my btm into gear, I love gift boxes.  I'm currently loving the kraft and white combination and I think it works really nicely for a festive gift.

I like to make wreaths. This one is with mussel shells. I love the gorgeous bleu colours and the pearly shine of the shells.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
