This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite: With or Without words / a sentiment (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:
I'm often guilty of leaving out a sentiment on my cards, but I actually do prefer it when I remember to include one, even if it's a simple 'happy birthday'.
Often times I will leave a card without a sentiment if I'm not sure what it will be used for. My favorite is to have a words, especially when you have the perfect stamp that says exactly what you want to say.
I always forgot to leave room for a sentiment but now I don't think I ever miss, especially a die cut one.
I sometimes put a sentiment on my cards if I can find an appropriate one. When I make cards not knowing who the recipient will be I wait till I use it and put on a suitable sentiment.
I do like having a sentiment or a word on my card or other project. It makes the card complete. Sometimes when I don't know who I am sending my card, I wait with the sentiment until I know for who and what occasion it will be.
I much prefer to have words on my cards even if it's just a "hello". I like to know what the cards are for and I agree with Wilma that they feel unfinished without anything on them.

With words for me. I love creating handmade cards because you can say exactly what is on your mind. In this case it was created on the computer and printed out.
I always make cards with words/sentiments on it. Without words/sentiments my cards don't feel finished or complete.
Thank you so much for choosing my card in the Top 3! Congratulations to Karen and the other Top Picks!
ReplyDeleteProud to be chosen in the Top 3. Congrats to the other Toppers and the winner.
