This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite: 2 Colour Combo (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love pastels colours, and in particular pink and blue (although purple comes a very close third place!).  I love the softness of the colours and most of my favourite papers are one or either of these two colours.

My current favourite is black and white.  It's just an easy combination  that can have so many different looks from elegant to shabby.

I love soft blue and white, it is so clean and fresh and perfect for baby cards.

I like pinks and greens together. They are pleasing to the eye and very feminine.

I have picked pink and green. I really love the colour pink and love combining it with green. It is such a fresh combination. These colours are perfect for flowers, so today I decided to make a flower card.

I have chosen pink and grey.  I think grey goes with many colours but it makes this bright pink stand out so well.

Pink and green for me, it's Mother Nature's favourite combo!! What ever shade of either colour they always go together.

My favorite colour combo is lime/green and turquoise/bleu.
They are such fresh colours. They also remind me a bit of a tropical environment. Green for all the trees and blue for the sea.
See my inspiration for the design of the card here

It's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite: With or Without words / a sentiment (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm often guilty of leaving out a sentiment on my cards, but I actually do prefer it when I remember to include one, even if it's a simple 'happy birthday'.

Often times I will leave a card without a sentiment if I'm not sure what it will be used for.  My favorite is to have a words, especially when you have the perfect stamp that says exactly what you want to say.

I always forgot to leave room for a sentiment but now I don't think I ever miss, especially a die cut one.

I sometimes put a sentiment on my cards if I can find an appropriate one. When I make cards not knowing who the recipient will be I wait till I use it and put on a suitable sentiment.

I do like having a sentiment or a word on my card or other project. It makes the card complete. Sometimes when I don't know who I am sending my card, I wait with the sentiment until I know for who and what occasion it will be.

I much prefer to have words on my cards even if it's just a "hello".  I like to know what the cards are for and I agree with Wilma that they feel unfinished without anything on them.

With words for me. I love creating handmade cards because you can say exactly what is on your mind. In this case it was created on the computer and printed out.

I always make cards with words/sentiments on it. Without words/sentiments my cards don't feel finished or complete.

It's over to you.
