Favourite way to Decorate a giftcard/money wallet (and why)

Welcome to As You Like It Challenge

Our fortnightly challenge is a home for you to create something
which gives you a warm "inner glow" of pride, without lots of entry rules.

Usually we provide options for you to choose from.
You just need to select and use your favourite option in order to join in.

For a chance to win our prize or top-3 spot,
you need to tell us why you've made your choice.
That way our team and readers can appreciate why it's your favourite.

eg, if the theme is 'favourite animal' and you decide on 'bunny', tell us why.
eg, you love Thumper, the rabbit from Bambi !

So get crafting and remember to have fun
and enjoy your crafting time.

Thank you to everyone who entered our last challenge.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite way to decorate a gift card / money wallet (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love making 3D projects so this little pop up wallet in pretty papers was as enjoyable to make as it is to gift.  The money slides into a slot and stands upright when the flap is opened, but it was a bit prone to opening by itself so I had to make a belly-band to keep it closed flat for sending.

I really like the fun of creating cut card holders with my cutting machine.  I just loved this Papa Bear, perfect for Fatherʻs Day, heʻs just a bit bigger than I expected.

Never made a money wallet before so this is my favourite as it worked, I enjoyed making it and my own papers to cover it, so will make more for Christmas maybe...

It is usually Christmas time I make money wallets and gift card boxes. This one was made for hubby with a voucher enclosed. It looked so much better than a printed bit of paper!

I love it when I am able to give a gift card in a special way. Gift cards can be a bit boring present, so when you give them in a special way, the present gets more special. For todays challenge I made a little box that holds a gift card in a hidden place and also some nice chocolates.

usually put money inside birthday cards so Christmas is the time for me when I can use a pretty wallet as they're not opened until Christmas day.

I have made a double sided wallet/purse. It has a section for coins and another for notes and/or gift cards. It would also be ideal for gifting a show ticket or even an ATC.

I don't very often give gift cards or cash as presents, unless it's for one of those "what the heck do I get" gifts, and even then I just tend to decorate an ordinary envelope, so this challenge theme actually made me think about it, and I had fun creating a wallet that could be used for a card or for cash

I love to make a special card/project to give a giftcard. As Larissa stated it's a bit boring to give a giftcard as it is.  I don't always make the same.
This one I found on Pinterest and I like it very much.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
