Here's a little about Karen:
I've always created stuff, I love creating with my hands and I love learning new skills so that I can incorporate them into my creations too.

My favourite is real stitching done on the machine and I love to use different stitches, I think it adds real interest to cards. Make sure you keep a separate needle just for card though as it soon blunts them

Although I love real stitching on cards, it's so much simpler and neater to use stitched dies to apply a bit of texture and interest. I've opted for a curved and straight stitched die edging for my image panel although looking through my dies, a large proportion of them are stitched to some degree!

When I have the time, it is very relaxing to me to take my time hand stitching on my cards.  I must say these days, faux stitching is my favourite though, it is fast and easy and there are so many wonderful dies available.

I love stitching of any description. Faux stitching is the easiest way to add to a project, in particular dies. These circle dies are one of my favourites. Stitching always adds a little more interest.

I love all kinds of stitching on my cards. I have lots of dies that add stitching. Whenever I have a lot of time to make a card, I love doing real stitching with a needle and thread, love the look of that. I also love faux stitching with a pen. And since I have done that so very often in all the years that I have been making cards, I decided to use that on my card today. I love the look of stitching and I think it adds something extra to your card.

**coming soon**

I do like to add real hand stitching on my shabby style of card, but the majority  contain faux stitching from dies.  It's a quick and easy way of giving a good finish to an edge.

I love the effect that stitched dies give without the effort of threading needles!!

Normally when this theme comes around, I always opt for faux stitching, the stitched effect dies are brilliant for adding that extra touch to a card.  However, this year I have been learning a new skill and, ta-dah, you are getting REAL stitching from me!  Yup, I have been bitten by the crochet bug - these are mug coasters (although secretly I think they are too pretty to get tea stains on them)

Faux stitching is my favourite. It's easier and real stitching is much more time consuming.
And I have lot of stitched dies.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
