Your Favourite colouring medium (markers, pencils, paint) (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne
Using Teddy Colouring
I've always coloured, since I was a child in fact and I enjoy using and practising with lots of different mediums. I think my favourite has to be alcohol markers; I have Copics and Promarkers and love the effect when you blend the colours together

It's fairly safe to say that mine is watercolouring with my DI reinkers. I like not only the softness of how they look, but also the process of the watercolouring with the paintbrush. I take my time over it and some of them can take me quite a while, but it's something I do for pleasure, not a race.

My favorite coloring medium is Copic markers.  I love the variety of colors and the wonderful way they blend.

Elaine

My favourite medium is Promarker alcohol pens. I love how easy they are to blend and the range of colours.

Jayne
My favourite colouring medium has always been copics - they always blend beautifully and there is a huge colour range.

Larissa
My favourite colouring medium is my coloured pencils. I started using them when I started making cards more than 10 years ago. I love how much it relaxes me, when I use them to colour an image. I love that you can get a soft look, but bright colours are also no problem.

Lisa
Poorly this week so we're sending her our best wishes

I always use Copic markers. They are the pens I started with and although I have tried pencils I find Copics much easier and always go back to them.

It's Promarkers for me. I have tried a range of alternatives over the years but still reach for my Promarkers. I know exactly which colours work and blend together.

For me it is Distress Inks (ReInkers) which I use as watercolours.  I have tried all sorts over the years, but come back to the DIs every time, they are my happy place.

My favorite colouring medium is definitely Copic markers. I love the way they blend.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Die or Stencils (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I do love stencils but dies so versatile and I use them on every card I make. Sentiments and flowers are my faves, I wouldn't dare tell you how many I actually own!!

I really love my stitched dies because of the texture and interest, and in particular the circles. These XXL dies from Crealies are fabulous because they're such a great size (and this isn't even the largest in the set).

Dies are definitely my favourite.  I like using stencils but dies are available in such a wonderful variety and are fast and easy to use.

I love dies and use them often. They are so easy to use and a card can be made quickly. I also used a stencil on this card to give a bit more interest on the background.

I love my little circle window dies and use them all the time. Let's face it, I love all dies and I'm not going to admit to how many I've bought in the last week!

I love using dies and stencils! I love using my cloud stencils on cards to add a little scene behind an image. But I almost always use dies on my cards. I really love nesting dies with a stitched or pierced edge because they add something extra on my card without being too much. I am not a person who uses a lot of embellishments, so these dies are perfect.

I use dies on most of my cards, and for this one I've used them as the 'feature' instead of a stamped image for a change.

I love using dies especially my stitched edge dies.  They finish the edges off wonderfully without the effort of hand stitching and come in all shapes and sizes.

I have used dies on my card today. There are so many available from basic shapes, like I have used here for matting, to hugely intricate panels and sentiments to add interest to cards and other paper or mixed media projects.

I love dies, and use them a lot, but I have recently developed a new found admiration for stencils, especially as there are now so many clever ones around, so for a change I have gone for stencils to make this card

I am in love with dies and use them all the time. Dies are quick and the shapes are always ´straight´. These letter dies are my newest addition.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
