This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite stitching (faux or real) (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:
Despite owning a lot of stitched dies, I still really like making the effort to do the real thing on my cards because it seems to be the exception to the norm. After getting a bit wobbly with my stitches though, I am thinking I should've opted for the stitched dies instead!
I always love real sewing on cards but but but......
Here is my first ever cushion I made using my sewing machine.

Using T-Rex Chomper
I prefer faux stitching because my skills with a sewing machine are very basic. Not only that I find it a bother to dig it out of the cupboard.
It depends on the style of card for me as I like to do real stitching on shabby chic style cards, but my favourite and the one I use most is faux. It's a lot easier and my real stitching is not as neat.
I love the idea of real stitching on cards and admire those that actually do it, however, I can never get the lines straight so I opt for faux stitching by way of my holey ruler and a fine liner!!
I absolutely love the look of real stitches on a card, but I just can't do it! I have tried, unpicked, tried, unpicked, binned the card ..... you get the picture. So, instead of all that stress, thank goodness for faux stitched dies
So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite stitching (faux or real).
Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
