It's Christmas for me, because I love all the excitement beforehand with all the decorations, plus it's a great excuse to use sparkle on your cards!

Well this is an easy choice for me I LOVE making christmas cards

so I pick Christmas.... I so love this Stamp and set I think I am going to be making multiple cards with this set.

I love making cards to say hello and remind my friends I think of them often.  I know I love getting unexpected "happy mail".

I don't mind what occassion I make cards for. Birthdays are obviously the most popular but I do love making anniversary and wedding cards. I like adding hearts, gems and pretty embellishments.

My favourite are definitely Christmas cards as I love putting glitter and bling on them when I can and I tend to make them all the year round when I don't have much else on.

I like to make "Just Because" cards to send to friends that I haven't seen in a while or, for that matter, those I have never met!! Let's face it something unexpected is always a lovely surprise!!

My favourite reason for making cards, other than birthdays, is to celebrate
friendships - I have made so many friends all over the world (some I have never met but who are still dear to my heart) and I love to let them know I am thinking of them and how important they are in my life

Apart from making Birthday- and Christmas cards, I also like to make little 'thinking of you' cards. It's important to let friends, family or colleagues who are facing difficult times know that some one is thinking about them.

Your Skin/fur Colour combo (in whatever colouring medium you use (& why).

You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

I've opted for fur, since I prefer critters, and I've used my two 'go-to' combinations for grey and brown critters.  Using my Distress Ink reinkers to watercolour the kitties, the grey tabby is a mix of Hickory Smoke and Black Soot and the ginger tabby is a base of Antique Linen with Brushed Corduroy and Vintage Photo for the darker bits.  I also sometimes add some Gathered Twigs or Ground Espresso for extra contrast in the shadows, like under my ginger kitty's sign.  I love the warmth of these colours and the way they complement each other.

I don't tend to lean toward making a huge amount of cards with people images but sometimes there
is a need for them and on this occasion I needed an 18th Card for a good friends daughter
I always go for pale skin tones I find them the easiest to create so they are my favourites
I work with Spectrum Noir Pens for the skin so I have used:
TN1, FS2, FS4, FS8, CR4 and CR7.

My favorite colors to use for fur are usually any of the grey, but it kinda depends on what kind of fur I am coloring.  I especially love the Copic cool and warm greys because they just seem to blend so beautifully.  The combo I used here is C3, C5 and C7.

I love using warm tones for dog fur. I usually use beige, tan and brown Promarkers. I think these colours make the pups look cute and cuddly.

I colour fur with my prismacolor pencils, because they have a perfect combination that I love. I use PC941 Light umber, PC1082 Chocolate and PC942 Dark chocolate. It gives a nice warm glow that I really love. But I also have another secret for colouring fur: Colour on hammered paper! Fur looks amazing on it. ;)

I do most of my colouring with Copics and the fur for this bear is done with E30, E31 and E34.  I use quite a few in the E30 range and I like these three as I find them easy to blend and they are not too light, not too dark, in fact just right (for me anyway).

When I am using Promarkers, my default skin colours are Apricot, Oatmeal, Blush and Baby Pink for a great blend.

Squirrel 

I love my critter stamps, and tend to favour warm golden colours.  With Distress Inks I achieve this with a base coat of Scattered Straw, a top coat of Tea Dye, and Brushed Corduroy for the darker parts, with occasional Walnut Stain for real depth when I am feeling brave.

Wilma

Lately I don't color so many stamps. But when I choose a stamp for a card it's usually an animal. In this case I chose my all time favorite mouse: Henry. I always color with Copic markers. Henry's coat I always color with cool gray (C0, C1, C2, C3).

I currently have 2, so I've used them both on my card.  I am really loving the stitched type of dies, and have a few.  My favourite nesting type of die is my stitched circles because they're a great size and seem to fit most images.  I also like my stitched border dies, especially for CAS style card layouts because they can create simple breaks in two papers without layering.

Wow this is a difficult challenge theme but I have to say that my Oliva Alphabet set is my 1st Favourite also this set has been discontinued I am not quite sure why its an AWESOME set..... and the Star is from a New Set and my 2nd Favourite die.

I LOVE DIES!!!  I am currently finding it difficult to create a card without some sort of a stitched rectangle, circle or square.  Having said that I also love my tag dies and have a wonderful collection of all sizes and shapes.

I have many favourite dies but I love this poppy die by Memory Box. It is one of the first Memory Box dies I bought and has been a great investment. This die can be used for anything from birthdays to sympathy cards and everything in between. It always looks so elegant.

I love stitched dies, but since I have discovered these dies from Crealies with the little holes on the edges, I am totally addicted to them. I love the cute little extra touch they give to a card or a project. I have picked the circle dotted dies, because I really like using the circle shape and I thought it would be fun to create tags with only circle dies

I love stitched edge dies because they give a more finished look rather than a plain edge. My most favourite is my stitched squares set by Crealies.  There are 12 of them in the set so there are plenty of sizes to chose from and I use them a lot!

Spellbinders Floral Ovals have to be among my favourite die sets, I tend to reach for them the most and in this case have used one of the smaller ones.  They are intricate without being too fussy.

I love my dies to have detailed edges so anything stitched or pierced makes
me a very happy Squirrel - they just give that extra finishing touch of detail

Wilma

I have a lot of favourite dies, but at the moment my favourite is a set I bought recently: postage dies. I love the shape of it and the stitches. It's a basic set which I will use often.
