This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Christmas Colours (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm not a great lover of gold, green and red, but I do like non-traditional colours at Christmas. I've opted for my two favourites, aqua and purple, a choice which just so happens to mean that I can also use my favourite Christmas paper pad, Snow Princess from Nitwits.

using: sketchy holly mistletoe

I am not one for fussy or fancy and the more I craft the more I realise
that C&S is my thing, Also when we decorate our house for Christmas I really
love clean and simple for that too and this holly digi stamp just shouted at me to use traditional colours of Red and Green so I guess this is my favourite.

Brenda
using Winter Rosie Set

If I was forced to choose a favourite Christmas color combo, I guess I would have to go with the traditional green, red and white.  I think these colors bring back fond memories of Christmas as a child.

Elaine

Cute Robin Chicklets

This is one of the toughest choices for me. I love so may colour combos. I like to make my Christmas cards with different colour themes. Today I was in a red, blue and green mood because it is nice frosty feel and yet a cosy warmth with the red.

Kat

I have a few favourite colour combos for Christmas depending on the style of card I am making and any image I am using.  However, I do find myself choosing blue and brown more often than any other as I think it looks elegant yet cosy all at the same time!

Lori

using Sketchy Penguins

Lorraine
Using Bert Christmas Set
This was a difficult choice for me. I love alternative colours like pink and white or blue and lilac for Christmas but the traditional colours of red, green and gold just called to me for this sweet image, so here's 'Bert's Christmas', isn't he adorable?

Mojca

I love traditional colours and motives and what's more traditional than red-nose reindeer and green/red colours. They are so warm and really remind me of Christmas.

Sarah

I used to be a traditional Christmas colours kind of girl, however, the last few years I have favoured different colour combos so have gone with soft purple and aqua green.

Squirrel

I had to think long and hard about this one as I like lots of colour combos for Christmas cards, but for an actual Christmas at home I don't think you can beat the traditional warmth of red, green and gold.

Wilma
Cute Polar bear
Besides red and green, blue is also one of my favorite colours to use on a Christmas card. I love winter and the colour blue makes me think of cold weather and snow.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Christmas Colours (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm definitely a 'cute and furry' teddy kinda gal.  And out of all my teddy images, my favourite has to be James the bear.  He's adorably cute and I love this little image of him looking a bit thoughtful at his 'Santa stop here' sign.

**coming soon**

Brenda

I love Teddies!  I have fond memories of cuddling with a well loved Teddie and reading stories about Winnie the Pooh.

Elaine

Teddies win hands down with me. I love the soft cuddly look and feel, they are so adorable.

Kat

Fairies and teddies both feature pretty often on my cards but I think I have to choose teddies because of the cute and cuddly factor, and because James bear is one of my all time favourite characters!

Lori

I love them both, but I have a slight more "love" for fairies! They are so pretty and are fun to imagine flittering around doing good deeds! :)

Lorraine
I love both really but I have always been drawn to magical or fantasy images and I adore anything fairy-like.
Wouldn't it be lovely if these beautiful little beings lived in my garden.

Mojca

I must confess that I prefer fairies to teddies although I love latter also ... but fairies are so mystical and I just love to colour them :)

Sarah

It's teddies for me and the ever gorgeous James just had to feature, I mean let's face it he is pretty fantastic!!

Squirrel

Teddies - absolutely no question.  If's it's furry and huggable then I'm there!

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project telling us (and showcasing) whether you prefer using Old or New Stash (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

using Bently Christmas
We all like new stash (often there's stuff we just 'have' to have), but there's also the satisfaction when we rediscover a lost gem that we have had a while and forgotten about.  I've had this bunny image and the pretty winter backing papers for years and love them both. But I've also recently discovered the Wishes text die from WPlus9 and I'm really loving it.  I love that the new die has given fresh ideas for using my older items. For me therefore, it's a mix of both old and new. :0)

Brenda

I love adding to my stash.  There are so many fun images and papers and mediums for us to play with.  I also love digging around in my old stash finding things I have never used or even forgotten I had.  For this challenge I am choosing to go with goodies from my stash.  I couldn't pass up the opportunity to use this cute new digi from our very kind sponsor, DigiStamp Boutique.  This is from Rosie Collection 1 and I love her!

Elaine

Cute Pup set

I love to use both old and new stash and I have plenty old. Saying that, I love new stash  because it is always inspiring. This cute puppy just hit the spot, I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it. A crafter cannot have too much in the store cupboard.

Kat

I absolutely LOVE having new stash to play with as it always inspires me to try new things such as this double z-fold card design.

Lori

I always love getting new stash! Who doesn't?? This cutie pie image from Digi Stamp Boutique is adorable and I will be sure to use it OFTEN! Thank you so much for the awesome image! xoxoxo

Lorraine

Using Sketchy Flower Frames

I love new crafty stuff don't you? But I also have plenty of old stuff too. After crafting for ten years you tend to accumulate lots of things over time. I have used papers from an old
First Editions pad called Boho Chic and an old Spellbinders Wavy Border Die. My image is a new to me though which came as a set of four, head over to my blog and see what I did with the others.

Mojca

I actually like both, but who doesn't love playing with new stuff, right? This stamp is a brand new one in my collection and I made a lovely hanger for anniversary with it.

Squirrel

I love playing with new stash stamps and dies, I get inspired by what I can do with them, and excited by the possibilities but I mix it up a bit with old stash papers as I have such a hoard of them.  I love new papers too, but by the time I have finished stroking and sniffing them, they have turned into old stash

Suzette

I love cute and whimsical, with lots of expressions and this image tick those boxes.

Wilma

I love to play and experiment with my new stash. These cute little bears was a present from my teammate Annette and I love them. I used my new  paperpad from Fawn Lawn (perfectly plaid): gorgeous colours.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Old or New Stash (& why).
