This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Die (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

This Nottingham border die has been my favourite for a while.  I love the pretty flowers and it's my 'go-to' die for clean and simple feminine designs.

Well I agree with my teamies this challenge was a challenge of Which die is my favourite,
OUCH! ermmmm think think think... THERE ARE LOADS! that are my favourite...
I have to say though Tattered Florals is one of my go to dies so it is definitely one of my favorites.

Brenda

This challenge is impossible for me.  I LOVE DIES!  If I were backed into a corner and threatened for an answer, I would say my stitched or pierced circle dies.  I find I seldom my a card without them, I love their finished look.

Elaine

I love my flower dies, but especially the Chrysanthamum set from Britannia dies. I think they enhance so many of my projects either as a single flower or a cluster.

Kat

My favourite die changes all the time depending on what mood I'm in!

This is my current fave because I had my eye on it for ages and finally snapped it up at a craft show for a very bargain price :-)

Lori

My favorite "go-to" dies are the stitched rectangles, squares and circles from Lil' Inker Designs....they work amazing to frame an image and give it that extra little detail it needs

Lorraine

My all time favourite die is the Floral Oval by Spellbinders. I love it because it fits all of my coloured images beautifully and sits nicely on a 6 x 6 card but equally doesn't get lost on a larger card either.

Mojca

I just love Spellbinder dies and the circle ones and scalloped ones are my favourite, they give such lovely touch to the cards.

Sarah

My favourite ( most used ) dies  are my Spellbinders large circles which, I have recently discovered, fit perfectly into my NEW favourite Stitched Circle Scallop Frames!!

Why? I just think that a circle frames most images really nicely and it appeals to my need for symmetry.

Squirrel

I wanted to rename this challenge as "Mission Impossible" - it has been so DIFFICULT to choose a favourite die (or two).  In the end I chose my favourite matting dies and a couple of my favourite (that is, most used) embellishment dies.  I could have chosen far more than three though!

Suzette

**coming soon**

Wilma

I love the butterfly dies of Memory box, but Pippi and Isabella Butterfly are my favorite dies. I love butterflies and use those dies a lot.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Die (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Hugs from the AYLI girls.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Favourite Food or Drink ? (& why).
This could also be interpreted as a colour too, eg favourite is chocolate so use brown,
or you like strawberries so use pink/red.

You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

My favourite is chocolate which could be either food or drink because you can both eat and drink it!  I love the taste and it's not so much a love as a need!  Yup, I'm a chocoholic (and seek no cure!)

Samantha
Oh my favourite is definitely food!
and well chocolate cake!
do I need to say anymore?
CHOCOLATE CAKE!

It would be hard for me to decide between coffee and chocolate.  If I absolutely had to choose, it would be a nice cup of bold, hot coffee!  Some mornings, the only thing to roust me out of bed is the thought of drinking that delicious brew.

I am a real foodie, but I do like to share a glass of wine with friends.

**coming soon**

Lori

Well, this is a no-brainer for this girl LOL...anyone who knows me knows that I am a true "coffee addict" so for me this week, it's BEVERAGE - coffee! It's my ultimate FAV!!!

Lorraine

I love to share a cuppa and a chat with friends.

**coming soon**

I like food (chocolate especially!!) AND drink, however I NEED coffee in order to fuel me for mucking out in the morning so I have chosen to showcase some rather lovely coffee cups :0)

Oh I do like me grubs, but I find nothing perks me up more than a delicious coffee, hot if the weather is cold, or iced if it is a really hot day.  My current addiction is a Costa Flat White (other brands are available)

**coming soon**

Of course, I love good food, but I also really enjoy to drink a glass of wine with friends on a sunny terrace.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite of our options.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to win the prize.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm definitely into my double bows, so I'd say the bigger the better! I love satin ribbons (I have a whole array of 15mm wide satins in all the colours under the sun) and love matching them to my papers.

My favourites are small bows they are just so dainty and

always fit the project no matter the size of the project and also make perfect flower centres too.

Brenda

I usually go for small bows.  I think they just add that super cute factor.  They also make it a little easier to mail.

Elaine

I prefer small bows. I think they add a little dimension to what would be a plain project.

Kat

It's little bows for me because I love how cute they look and they are perfect for tying on a sentiment tag

Lori

I prefer little bows as I feel they can add just the right "small" touch to any card! You can use them under buttons, and to hang small charms :)

Lorraine

It's small bows for me, I find them easier to tie and not so bulky for posting too.

Mojca

I love to use big bows because they give a special touch to the cards. I especially like to use them on baby cards and this one is made for a special baby girl.

Sarah

I always think bows add bulk to cards which need to be posted so rarely use them.
However, when the need arises, and the card is to be hand delivered, I use the not too big and not too small pegs on my bowmaker as you can see here...

Squirrel

Personally, bows are the frippery of the devil, so I avoid them wherever I can, but I had to use one for the challenge!  I prefer little to large, but, awkward as ever, this one is sort of medium!

Suzette

I did this little bag as one of my demos in one of my craft shows and I I love adding stings and making them into bows.

Wilma

In this case my favorite bow is little. I think it depends on the type of card if it needs a big or little bow.
