This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite for Male or Female (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Although I've not used overly girlie colours, it's definitely a feminine style. I'm far more comfortable with cute and pretty styles, especially if there can be a splash of glitter. I find the masculine styles so tough, no flowers, no pink, nothing too cute. It's just not 'me'!

I love making cards for females they are always fun and easy to make with
I always have more ideas than time to make them, But I have to choose Male
cards as they take lots of planning time and are most definitely a challenge
But I love my husbands face everytime he opens one of my handmade cards
he studies them for ages and is always so complimentary

Brenda

I love making cards, any kind of cards! I think I like female cards or tags best because I love ribbons and buttons and sparkle and bling!

Carol

Like Elaine I find male cards challenging but get a lot of satisfaction out of making them. have to put a bit more thought into them!

Elaine

using Henry Day Dreaming

Male cards are always a challenge, but give me great satisfaction when I have made one I like.

Kat

It has to be female cards for me because I love using pretty floral papers and adding all those gorgeous girly details like flowers, lace and pearls...and preferably a hefty dash of pink!

Lori

I really like making "girlie" cards - they come a lot easier to me that the masculine cards do. Adding bling, and sparkle and all the pretty colors are what draws me to female cards....FUN!!

Lorraine

I love making female cards, I find them much easier than male ones. It's because there are many pretty embellishments you can add to a girly card such as flowers, pearls and gems.

Mojca

Definitely female for me, I love decoration and glitter and colours and if you are creating for ladies that's just more easy as it is for men.

Sarah

Female...no question!! I love cute and although not usually heavily embellished, I always look at the cards I design for girls with pride and think, yep...I made that!!  Male cards are sooo difficult, nearly as bad as choosing a gift for a chap!!

Suzette

Wilma
Male for me, because that's always a challenge for me.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite for Male or Female (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Season(& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Although I like crafting for Christmas, my favourite season is summer. I love the longer days, the warmer weather and the brighter skies. I like to think that my honeybears are enjoying playing in the garden on a summer's afternoon.

Hmmmm Difficult for me! The fact I LOVE spring for all the plants and flowers in my garden start coming back to life and the trees start budding up and flowering! However!!! For making cards...

IT has to be Winter Why? Because when Winter comes Christmas is not far behind!
I LOVE Christmas with all the baking and Christmas card sending..
for my project this time I have made a Christmas card with a poinsettia stamp and some distress inks

Brenda

My favorite season is Spring.  I love the promise of new beginnings that Spring brings.  I love all the color that springs forth after the essentially colorless months of Winter.

Carol

I love them all but going with Autumn, so love the countryside as the trees begin to turn array of warm glowing colours and nothing like sitting in front of an open fire, dimmed lights and the wind howling outside.

Elaine

I love the Christmas season. I am not fond of the cold weather, but I do love the hustle and bustle of Christmas. The preparation of the food, baking the cake, making cards and making Christmas projects with my Grandson. All very satisfying.

Kat

My favourite season for card making is Winter because I love all the gorgeously festive images, beautiful snowflakes and I love adding sparkle to my Christmas creations!

Lori

Winter!! I used to love Spring and Summer more but for the past 10 years or so, Winter is my "down time." A time for me to not worry about yard work (except snow removal) and I get to crochet, make cards, light candles and hunker down! Of course, it's also because the HO-HO-HO holiday is in there too and I LOVE Christmas! Cheers!

Lorraine

Although I love making Wintry Christmas cards and items I'm really not a fan of the cold weather - may favourite season is Summer. I love the warm sunny days spent in the garden relaxing and if I had a swing I would be doing just as Emily is. This is a topper by Hobby House using Emily from Sylvia Zet.

Mojca

I love summer, because it's warm and days are longer, you can relax and most impotently enjoy your favourite ice cream everyday ;) This teddy bear really reminds me of summer, I also added bright sunny colours. Can't wait to be summer again :))))

Sarah

Winter!! Simply because 'tis the season to be jolly fa la la la la, la la la la!!

I can't help but love Christmas, even though the men in the house think I'm bonkers!!
Woe betide anyone who dares to mess with my tree and don't even get me started  on my dressers!! I love the preparation, anticipation and the lovely feeling I get from conjuring up memories of Christmases past both when I was small and those shared with our Sons when they were little too.

Suzette

Well my favourite season is summer, I can't get used to winter at all, maybe it's because I am from the Caribbean where it is always hot and we don't have snow...but I must admit I do love snowmen and I love to draw them too....so here is a couple a drew and water coloured.

My favorite season is winter. I love the weather, snow and the long and dark evenings. Coming home in a warm house. I like December 5th (Dutch Santa Claus) with gifts and sweets. Decorating the house and tree.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Season (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I like walking and gardening, but as the nights are drawing in I'm more likely to be found at my craft desk, and in particular this means watercolouring my images. I've improvised with this image which shows my young Wee pup getting a bit sticky with some paint!

Oh my Gosh how to choose a favourite?
When I enjoy so many hobbies

I LOVE crafting, baking, reading and taking photos
I also love gardening and our animals and those that know me know I have quite a few.... but.... I LOVE to crochet so I have chosen that as my favourite, I am really enjoying that at the moment and the reason why is that I can take it anywhere!
and here is my latest hot off the hook

Brenda

In my spare time I love standup paddling, walking, reading and photography, but most of all I love crafts of all kinds.

Carol

My favourite hobby is crafting, like to try new things and making broaches is my in thing at the mo. Can make them just how I want them to look and can match them to my outfits!

Elaine

My favourite hobby is crafting! I love colouring digital and rubber stamps.

Kat

Apart from crafting, my favourite hobby is baking as I love to make yummy things to share with my friends and family, and I think I may have mentioned before that I have a sweet tooth?!

Lori

**coming soon**

Lorraine

I think I can safely say that my favourite Hobby is Card Making. I get so much enjoyment from creating a card from pieces of patterned paper, card and embellishments and I find it relaxing too. I can switch off form the days woes and when I'm in 'the zone' I am very happy.

Mojca

It's not hard to figure out which is mine right ;) I love everything to do with paper and also I love colouring, it just relaxes me so much.

Sarah

Favourite hobby? I have so many but I have incorporated two of my most favourite here...papercrafting and all things equine!!

Suzette

Well my favourite hobby is designing and colouring in..So here is a card I made using one of our image. I love to sketch new images so I gust this one fits perfectly. I might look like her sometimes when I do paint lol!

Wilma
It's hard to choose because I have many hobbies. For this challenge I chose: reading.
I love to read in the afternoon with a cup of tea for half an hour.
I also love to read  a few pages in bed before I go to sleep.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Hobby (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
