I like walking and gardening, but as the nights are drawing in I'm more likely to be found at my craft desk, and in particular this means watercolouring my images. I've improvised with this image which shows my young Wee pup getting a bit sticky with some paint!

Oh my Gosh how to choose a favourite?
When I enjoy so many hobbies

I LOVE crafting, baking, reading and taking photos
I also love gardening and our animals and those that know me know I have quite a few.... but.... I LOVE to crochet so I have chosen that as my favourite, I am really enjoying that at the moment and the reason why is that I can take it anywhere!
and here is my latest hot off the hook

Brenda

In my spare time I love standup paddling, walking, reading and photography, but most of all I love crafts of all kinds.

Carol

My favourite hobby is crafting, like to try new things and making broaches is my in thing at the mo. Can make them just how I want them to look and can match them to my outfits!

Elaine

My favourite hobby is crafting! I love colouring digital and rubber stamps.

Kat

Apart from crafting, my favourite hobby is baking as I love to make yummy things to share with my friends and family, and I think I may have mentioned before that I have a sweet tooth?!

I think I can safely say that my favourite Hobby is Card Making. I get so much enjoyment from creating a card from pieces of patterned paper, card and embellishments and I find it relaxing too. I can switch off form the days woes and when I'm in 'the zone' I am very happy.

Mojca

It's not hard to figure out which is mine right ;) I love everything to do with paper and also I love colouring, it just relaxes me so much.

Sarah

Favourite hobby? I have so many but I have incorporated two of my most favourite here...papercrafting and all things equine!!

Suzette

Well my favourite hobby is designing and colouring in..So here is a card I made using one of our image. I love to sketch new images so I gust this one fits perfectly. I might look like her sometimes when I do paint lol!

Wilma
It's hard to choose because I have many hobbies. For this challenge I chose: reading.
I love to read in the afternoon with a cup of tea for half an hour.
I also love to read  a few pages in bed before I go to sleep.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Hobby (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I rarely use bright colours because I prefer softer, romantic tones that pastels give.

I love love love brights and would choose them every time over pastels
I wear brights and I make brights I love the bright colours in nature too!

Brenda

I love pastels when I am trying to create a soft feel for my creation, but when I look around my blog, I use mostly brights.

Carol
Love pastels, especially when it comes to flowery cards I think pastels make pretty feminine cards.

Elaine

I love all colour but for babies I do prefer pastel colours best. They are so delicate and happy.

Kat

I love the soft romantic look that pastels give and am always reaching for my huge stash of pretty pastel papers!

Lori

I love bright, bold colors - especially against black so that they "pop" :)

Lorraine

I love bright, bold colours especially the colour red but I also love the pastel shades that are used in so many beautiful cards that my blogging friends make but I find these muted shades very difficult to work with for some reason and so, I have decided to set myself a challenge to create a pastel coloured card... or two

Mojca

Sarah

Brights for me as they tend to suit the style of image that I enjoy colouring.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I'm definitely a 'colour' fan, and even on a "grey day" I love to add some colour!  So my rainy day image features two of my favourite colours, aqua-blue and purple.

Oh for me it's definitely all about the colours
Why? well I think life would not be the same in one colour
Simple as that!

Brenda

I like monochrome, but I LOVE color!  Bright colors make me smile.

Carol

I love the challenge of monochrome especially when using colours, it's the balance of getting the shades of one colour to look just right. This is my favourite monochrome colour, just like my craft room, makes me feel right at home!

Elaine

Monochrome can have a very striking effect, but I do prefer colour. I love the vibrancy that colour can bring to a card.

Kat

Almost all my cards are in colour; there are so many beautiful colours and it's nice to choose colours to suit the mood and style of the image.

Lori

As you can probably guess, my favorite is COLOR...in fact, I believe I am addicted to color! :P I am an avid crocheter as well as a card maker and when I start an afghan, I am so excited to see it once ALL the colors are incorporated! SO FUN!

Lorraine

Colour is definitely my choice every time. I love bright and vibrant colours they make me happy.

Mojca
Definitely colour for me. Otherwise I wear only black and sometimes read coloured clothes, so I have to confess that crafts is my colour escape :P

Suzette
My Favourite colour is rose pink

Sarah

Colour for me!! After all the world would be a miserable place without it and from a crafty perspective there are so many gorgeous papers that need images coloured to match!!
