The sponsor of this challenge is

My Mum's Craft Shop

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Embossing Folder (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

This Embossalicious Floral embossing folder is my favourite. The design is perfect for lots of occasions but it's also 6" square, which means it's the perfect size to cover my card blanks perfectly without the getting join marks which I get with my 5 x 7 folders.

On a break

Carol

I love using the embossing folder 'Tied Together' for Weddings,  Anniversary's  etc. I love how you can add embellishes to the trellis work or leave it as it is.

Mojca

Mine is definitely the dotty one because dots are so lovely and look good on everything, don't you think?

Sarah

My favourite embossing folder of all time has to be Provocraft Swiss Dots.

Perfect for any occasion, a truly versatile folder!!

Suzette
I really don't own embossing folders. I die cut and the edges get embossed, I will have to invest in a few sometime.

Wilma
I recently bought this embossing folder and it's my favorite for the moment. It's great for birthday cards and with this fun image it's a perfect match.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Embossing Folder (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Card Shape or Fold (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love this Go Kreate Lables die;
the largest of the set makes a beautifully shaped card.

I also like tent-fold cards the best, I'm not sure why,
but I find them much easier to photograph than side-folds!

Samantha

This was a difficult one of me because I nearly always make square cards and love them
but this is also a card shape I love too.  It's very simple; you just trim off about 2 inches from the end of the card front, and add your image layer so it hangs over.

Carol

I love this shaped card, not sure what its called.

I love it cause there's plenty of squares to dress up or down.

Mojca

I just love easel cards, especially this kind of twisted one. They are so unique and special.

Sarah

Stepper cards are my favourite "alternative" card shape/fold. I love that you can dress them up as I have done here. I usually make my own but on this occasion I discovered a ready made card blank that was a little bigger than I'd normally make and suited the sponsor's image perfectly!!

Suzette

I love shape cards as they are different from your everyday cards plus they lend themselves to all different embellishments

Wilma

An easel card is my favourite card shape. I must confess I don't use it very often, because I only use it for very special occasions or persons. It is easy to make and the result is always special.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Card Shape or Fold (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Christmas Image (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love penguins and this image has been a firm favourite for a long time.  He's just adorable and I love that he's quite a small stamp, and very quick to colour.  I've cut him out with a huge stitched circle die to give him lots of focus.
He's called 'Snow Cute' - and he is exactly that!!!

My favourite stamp this year is a Robin stamp from Woodware.
There are so many opportunities with it.
Here is what I have done with this cute and versatile stamp, with
a little of my doodling.

Carol

My favourite this year has to be this Snowman, he's handsome, quick to colour, if like me running out of time! And he looks like he's sending best wishes for me lol.

Mojca

My most favourite Christmas stamps are owls and this one is really one of the best. I make this kind of card every year; so quick to colour and what a great effect on CAS cards!

Sarah

It's Holly for me. I've used her for the last three Christmases. She is so pretty, easy to colour and little girls love her (and big ones for that matter!!)

Suzette

**coming soon**

Wilma
My all time favourite Christmas image is any snowman. I have a lot of snowmen stamps and I adore every one of them. Some are cute and some are fun and they are easy to colour.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Christmas Image (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
