This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Style : Cute or Elegant (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

No question. Definitely CUTE!  I don't really do 'elegant'!!
I love anything that makes you say 'aww'.

And nothing says that better than something cute and fluffy!

Samantha
Its a difficult choice for sure but I think I have to say my favourite is Cute that's really because
I love bringing the cute images to life.

Carol

I love cute but it's a lovely change to do something with all my dies so I have opted for Elegant, love doing these too cause they are just as pretty and not everyone likes cute on a card they receive.

Mojca

Oh, it's a tough desision right ... at least for me ... I love to do them both, but I think the cute style is just a little dominent at the moment ;P and this cute Tilda bee is just right for this challenge don't you think ;)

Sarah

A "no brainer"...cute for me!! Why? because there are cute images everywhere in rubber and digi and they are soooo hard to resist!!

Suzette
Elegant - I love this bride, so modern and happy

Wilma
I love to do both, but for this challenge I go for Elegant.
This card I made a while ago and I like it very much.
The paper is gorgeous and I love the rhinestone swirl and the flower arrangement.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Style : Cute or Elegant (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Our winner is :

Arty Andrea
With her cute Giraffe card

and our Top 3 4 are:
(I really shouldn't be left in charge as I always struggle to knock it down to just 3!)

Lucy Patrick
I couldn't resist Lucy's adorable chick card, those little bundles of fluff and feathers are just so cute and Lucy's bright colours are very spring-like:

Julye B
I not only loved Julye's monochrome card with red accents, but also really loved her lovely reason for choosing kitties as her favourite animal (they're mine too hun!)

Deonna
I also love chickens (I used to have some, but after they sadly passed away we didn't replace them), and I loved her pretty card.  Gorgeous colours and love the little egg embellies.

Jenny H
I just loved this card as soon as I saw it, both the gorgeous papers and the cute owl.
It's a simple design, but just spot on perfect!  Love the wood-grain paper too.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Image - Tilda with Cute Lamb
For me it has to be the real McCoy when it comes to stitching.  I love the texture and the fact that it's a little bit rebellious, because it's not something that you'd usually find on a shop bought card.

Samantha
Real Stitching for me as I LOVE the extra texture without the extra colour.

Mojca

I must admit that I have a sewing machine at home, but just can't find the time to learn how to use it :( So I had to satisfy myself with faux stitching.

Sarah

I have been doing some patchwork so my sewing machine was sat there raring to go so there was no excuse for me to use the old fineliner as usual....real stitching for me this time and it actually feels really nice!!

Suzette

I have not done much stitching on cards for a while now....but here I've tried some faux stitching. Not bad!!

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite stitching, faux or real (& why).

your Favourite Single Colour as your main focus colour.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

It's no choice for me, it's gotta be pink all the way!
No contest!
It's always the first colour I reach for when I head for my stash;
my pink embellishment pot is the one that's always bursting with 'stuff'.

My favourite colour to wear is blue/green and I often make
cards in blue and green.. however I use brown an awful lot and I LOVE kraft which is brown and also bears, mice and lots of animals in shades of brown, so brown is my favourite colour in crafting.

Carol

Well i love Kraft card especially teamed up with Cream and Lace. Decided on making the embellishments all Kraft this time for a change. Love my look!

Mojca

Well mine has to be brown. I don't know why, but I almost always use brown on my cards, as a background paper so the other colours pop out.

Sarah

I wouldn't shout "blue" if asked what my favourite single colour is BUT as they are the most regularly replaced Promarkers in my collection and appear on cards more often than any other colour then so be it!!
Aqua/turquoise tones always go well with other colours as accents such as red, brown and peach tones.

Suzette

**coming soon**
