This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Embossing Folder (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

This Embossalicious Floral embossing folder is my favourite. The design is perfect for lots of occasions but it's also 6" square, which means it's the perfect size to cover my card blanks perfectly without the getting join marks which I get with my 5 x 7 folders.

On a break

Carol

I love using the embossing folder 'Tied Together' for Weddings,  Anniversary's  etc. I love how you can add embellishes to the trellis work or leave it as it is.

Mojca

Mine is definitely the dotty one because dots are so lovely and look good on everything, don't you think?

Sarah

My favourite embossing folder of all time has to be Provocraft Swiss Dots.

Perfect for any occasion, a truly versatile folder!!

Suzette
I really don't own embossing folders. I die cut and the edges get embossed, I will have to invest in a few sometime.

Wilma
I recently bought this embossing folder and it's my favorite for the moment. It's great for birthday cards and with this fun image it's a perfect match.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Embossing Folder (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

your Favourite Song or Film (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

As soon as you look at my card, you'd be forgiven for thinking it's the Cyndi Lauper song 'Girls just wanna have fun', but just to confuse you, I've opted for New Shoes by Paolo Nutini as I have a bit of a thing for shoes!  Hence the shoe charm and shopping bags!  I'm imagining that those bags are full of lovely new shoes!

Samantha
I thought for a little while and I have many favourite songs and films
But at this time of year I think the song I have in my mind is
Oh Christmas Tree
Why?
Because we always have a real tree
and we get it the 1st Week in December
I LOVE a real tree!

Carol

I'm going all Christmassy here and I love the song "From our house to your house". Love Christmas, love spending time and visiting friends and family.

Mojca

I chose The Cult's cong Wild Flower. I just love this group so much, it was unavoidable :P

Sarah

One of my favourite films is The Sound Of Music, it reminds me of childhood family Christmases when my Grandma used to get tiddly on Cherry Brandy!! So it's

"...warm woollen mittens" for me!!

Suzette

**coming soon**

Wilma
I am a fan of Janis Ian and love the song "Stars". It's a bit of a sad song but the melody/music is so beautiful.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite song or Film (& why).

your Favourite Rubber Stamp (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I did have to think long and hard about this one, as I have about 5 current favourites (some old, some new) but the reason I've chosen this Posy trio from Lili of the Valley is because it's really versatile.  I've used it on cards, gifts and tags.

The bears are lovely and quick to colour, and you easily can fit all three onto a card base, or focus on just one as I've done here ...

... and they are the perfect size for my tag dies.  I cut around the metal die using a craft knife to create the coloured matted layers, and used matching seam binding.

Samantha

I love cupcakes and I love the Hero Art cupcake set.   I love it so much that the cupcake stamp used on the tag here was so overworked it started to break.  So I bought a complete new set of the same!
It's so versatile.

Carol

**coming soon - having computer issues :0( **

Mojca

Well I must admit that I love Magnolia stamps and this one is one of my favourite ones - Tilda with prince froggy. Well the little girls are so cute and can be used for all sorts of occasions.

Sarah

When I first started card making I bought quite a few from the Bildmalarna range, this one being the first. She still remains a favourite as she is so easy to colour and can be used for
lots of reasons, even Christmas at a push!!

Suzette
I love this stamp of Primrose, she look stylish and vintage.
I created the fabric flowers that work so well.

Wilma

This Henry the mouse is my favourite rubber stamp. I do have more of him, but this one I like the best because it is so versatile. I love that cute little mouse. He is so much fun to colour.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Rubber Stamp (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Colour Duo (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I think it's fairly safe to say that my three favourite colours are pink, blue and purple, but as today's theme is to use your two favourite colours, I had to choose just two.  So I chose pink and aqua blue, as I think they go beautifully together, and probably are the best combination from the three.  I hope you agree!

Samantha
My Favourite colour duo is definitely
Peacock feather Blue and Walnut Stain Brown.
Those are the distress ink colour names
but any Blues and Browns are good to go for me..
Why?
Well, I love the way they complement each other and
they play a huge role in the soft furnishings of my home too!

Carol

Blue and Cream my favourite.

I've loved blue since I was a child and these papers are so 'me'.

Mojca
I love brown-green combinations.
I think a little bit of brown really enhances the green colour.

Sarah

It's pink and green for me.
I think it's largely due to my love of  the outdoors.
Mother Nature puts colour together like no other!!

Suzette

I love all colours so it's very hard to pick just two,
but I love this colour combo as they work well together; purple and cream.

Wilma
I love this colour duo because of the sturdy darkbrown with the sweet pale blue.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Colour Duo (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.
