This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Domestic Animal (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

After Big Cats last week, it's no surprise that my favourite domestic animal is the cute and cuddly kitty cat!  We are slaves to two of our own feline furballs, Jenson and Pickle who are, of course, spoilt rotten (and we wouldn't have it any other way!).  One furry lap snuggle and every ounce of the day's naughtiness is instantly forgiven (and there's usually a lot of naughtiness requiring forgiveness).

I don't have any pets right now, but I'm in the market for a puppy.  I chose dogs as my favorite because they will walk me on a daily basis.

Cats..for me, cats, I loved my dog but I LOVE my cat, she is my world..

I don't have any pets now, but I have chosen dogs because my daughter has two of Springer Spaniels. They are mad as hatters and full of energy. They just love the outdoors.

I don't have animals myself and my favourite animal has always been a mouse, but lately I also have found a love for bees. I just love it when I see a cute bee image, so for today I decided to go for a sweet little bee.

It's dogs for me.  We have two and they are so loving and loyal and are just happy to be in your company.

This was tough but my dogs tipped the balance. We've had dogs in our Family since I was pregnant 33 years ago and haven't been without a dog since. There is nothing quite like their loyalty and they know exactly how you are feeling and are ever ready to cheer you up when times are tough.

I'm an amateur crazy cat lady I'm afraid, have always had a cat in my life (even if it was mine but not living with me - long story).  I've owned a couple of dogs over the years, but my heart belongs to those cute, furry, overlords, who let us share their house.

As with previous animal challenges, I'm going for cats. I am a cat person. 15 years ago I had persian cats. Unfortunately I don't have cats anymore because we are away from home a lot.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

Favourite African or Australian Wild Animal (& why).

This is a tough one as I am really fond of koalas and kangaroos, but for me it has to be the Big Cats.  Technically tigers have long been my favourite wild animals, but since they're mainly native to Asia I've opted for Leo, the King of the Jungle to represent my Big Cat theme instead.

I had to chose the lion also.  It's really the mama lions I admire so, they take such fiercely good care of their cubs.

My wild animal that I love the most is a Koala Bear and I held one once when I went to Australia..soft and cuddly..

I have chosen an African animal. Zebras have the most beautiful stipe patterns and all different. This cute one is great for a whole host of occasions.

I have picked a koala for this challenge. The look very cute and soft and I would love to cuddle with them. It was a difficult thing to pick just one animal, so many animals have something special.

I have chosen elephants.  They are such gentle giants and don't deserve to be hunted for their tusks.

Being a child of the 70's I absolutely loved Skippy (the bush kangaroo), it was always on TV during the holidays. Anyway I didn't have a kangaroo in my stash so I have chosen to use a cute and cuddly koala!!

Being practical about this, I thought of all my favourite African and Australian animals and then narrowed it down by which one was I most likely to ever be able to cuddle.
Koala!  Although I've heard a rumour they will wee on you.  I'll chance it.

No hard choice for me. On our trip through Australia we saw a lot of kangaroos. I had the chance to cuddle with baby kangaroo in the Zoo of Steve Irwin.
Just like Chrissy I also had the chance to cuddle with a koala bear. Great experience.

So now it's over to you.
