Anne
Despite good intentions of doing a couple each month,
I haven't actually made any Christmas cards yet this year!
I much prefer using pretty Summer colours
like this yellow and pink combination

I don't normally opt for orange and yellow
but I have been feeling really cold lately
(despite it being June!)
so I'm craving some warm colours.
These sunshine tones fit the bill perfectly.

Summer colours make me smile, they are my favourite colours to use!

I love summer colours because they are bright and cheerful.

Jayne
With the miserable grey weather we've had of late I've been craving some jolly Summertime zingy colours and this cheery Hummingbird definitely fits the bill!

Larissa
I have picked summer colours. I love that you can use bright and happy colours in the summer and I love those. When I saw this stamp set I immediately thought about happy pastels that are perfect for an ice cream truck.

I don't really like hot weather, but I do tend to use far more bright summery colours on my cards than winter ones... I like all colours though, I'm not fussy!

I've chosen Summer as I love to see all the wonderful flowers out in the gardens, everything seems so lush and healthy.

I tend to choose the icy cool colours of Winter. I had my own "colours done" many years ago and the colours in my wardrobe have always influenced my paper choices too!!

Being a furry little critter, I have an affinity with winter,
and really struggle with summer,
tail wilt is a real issue in high temperatures.
It was a tough choice as I love all colours,
but it's been a long time since I played with winter colours
and wanted a chance to cool down.

I love the colours in the summer.
The green grass, the (meadow) flowers, the leaves

and flowers on the (fruit) trees. It makes me happy.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

So, onto our next challenge, and it's a good one...

The winner of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer with us for July.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Stamp Brand (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne
This is a hard one as there are so many amazing stamp brands around at the moment as well as old favourites (remember the wood mounted ones anyone?) I've been stamping for 25 years and have a huge stash but if I had to choose just one it would have to be Lili of the Valley. I adore their cute images, they are my go to stamps and I can always find one that suits my needs

One of my first stamping obsessions was Lili of the Valley and they're still one of my favourites (especially based on the boxes full of them I now own!).  Never did I imagine, all those years ago, as I gazed in awe at all the fabulous LOTV design team cards that I would also be on that team myself one day, which was a dream come true.

This is one of the hardest challenges ever!  Reverse Confetti is one of my favourite stamp companies.  I love the sentiments, the variety and the darling little critters they have, like this sweet little bear.

I have always love Penny Black stamps. They are all so cute, but my particular favourite is the hedgehog range. This is an old stamp but I still use it often.

Jayne
My favourite stamp brand has to be Lili of the Valley. It was my first love and the first DT I joined. The stamps are super versatile and I love them as much now as I did years ago :-)

Larissa
My favourite brand is Di's digi stamps. My favourite animal is a mouse and Diane has so many cute mouse images, I just want to colour them all! I love the fine details in the images and I also like that the mice do funny things.

Lynne
I have 2 favourites, Stamping Bella and Lili of the Valley. I used a LOTV stamp for the last challenge so have opted for Stamping Bella this time.  They often have images more suitable for my friends and this is just perfect for one of them.

It's Lili of the valley for me. I was tempted by Bev Rochester's amazing cards using this brand in my early rubber stamping days and have continued to build my collection ever since. It's the cuteness that has always appealed.

When I first started stamping, I fell in love with Margaret Sherry's cute animal designs that Penny Black Inc turned into stamps, and I built up a rather large collection, so based purely on numbers, I have to say Penny Black are my favourite, especially as I still have them all!

Altenew stamps are my favourite stamp brand. I love the (two/three step) stamps of butterflies and flowers, they are gorgeous.

So now it's over to you. Sort out those boxes, folders and drawers of stamps and  join in our challenge and show us your style!!

Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
