This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
Your Favourite Christmas Animal (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne
I love using animals on my Christmas cards and there are some adorable ones available. Polar Bears and Penguins have to be my faves so this Polkadoodles image from Winnie Winterland is a winner as it features both!

I absolutely adore pingus (I definitely didn't get all soppy watching the BBC documentary a few weeks ago!!!) but I also love all things cute and furry, so I've also added a sweet reindeer too.
Using Rudolph and 2 Cute Christmas Penguins from Polkadoodles

I pick the TCP Bunny as my favorite Christmas animal.  He is actually one of my favorite animal images period!  He's cute and is always getting into some kind of trouble.

Elaine
I love penguins at Christmas. The are so cute and make a fun card for young and old.

Jayne
It has to be the Christmas penguin! Who doesn't love a Whimsy penguin?

Larissa

My favourite animal is a mouse and I love creating Christmas cards with a cute mouse on it. I just love their cute faces and sweet big ears.

Lisa

I love cute animal images and couldn't decide which to choose as my 'favourite'... and then I remembered James - definitely my favourite Christmas bear!

I love cute reindeer at Christmas, after all they're the ones that help Santa bring all the presents aren't they?

using Snowdrift Friends
I love all animals but for the purpose of this theme and because the sponsor image was too cute to resist I have gone for a Christmas dog, cat and the traditional little robin!!

I've had a love affair with this bear since he first appeared, several years ago now, and every Christmas he has made an appearance in at least one of his many adventures.  It wouldn't be Christmas without him now.

I love cats and I love the cat images from the Penny Black stamps.
They are funny and cute. This stamp is my favourite for Christmas.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your preference of either a Rubber or Digi stamping
You MUST explain WHY you prefer your chosen one of the two.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Anne

My paper crafting journey started 25 years ago with Penny Black rubber stamps. I have a huge stash and still love them but this last year I've had a bit of a bad neck so have found colouring difficult. I like using pre-coloured images if I can't colour or even if I just need a quick card - Lili of the Valley and Polkadoodles are my favourites

Although I appreciate the benefits of digi stamps, I really do prefer actual physically stamping with rubber. It feels more creative and I love flicking through my stamps to pick one.

Brenda
I use and love both digital stamps and "rubber stamps".  I love that digis are so versatile and easy to store, but...rubber stamps are still my favourite.  I love being able to stamp the image wherever I want it, I love collecting the stamps (let's be honest) and it's much easier to paper piece with rubber stamps.

I use both digis and stamps. Rubber stamping was my first introduction to card making many years ago. I still love the feel of physically making an image. Very satisfying.

Jayne
I love both but due to inky finger syndrome and my amazing knack to spend half an hour stamping only to stick an inky finger in the middle of my card at the final moment, I find digis a safer option ;-)

I love both digital and rubber stamps. They both have their own advantages. I love the techniques you can do with rubber stamps, like embossing. But I really love that you can decide your own size of stamp when you print a digital stamp and that you are able to mirror them to make a little scene even more perfect. I also love that it is easy storage with digital stamps. On this card I decided to use a digital stamp from Di's digi stamps, but for most of my sentiments I always use rubber stamps, just like I did today. It is easy because I don't have to think about printing a sentiment before I start making my card and you can stamp them really easy on your card when it is already almost done!

I love both and have chosen digi for my image purely for the reason of being able to re-size, but have also used a rubber sentiment as I like to emboss them sometimes.

Rubber stamps for me...it is where my papercrafting journey started!!

Digi?  What's a digi?  It's rubber all the way baby!

Difficult to choose, because I love them both.
The advantage of digi stamps is that you can print them in any desired size.
But for this challenge I stick to my first addiction and those are the rubber stamps.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge and show us your style.
Don't forget, you MUST explain WHY it is your favourite to be eligible to win.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
