who are offering a fab $20 voucher to our lucky winner

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project which
'cases' your Favourite designer.
You MUST explain WHY that designer is your favourite.
(and of course give them credit for your inspiration)

Your chosen designer can be anyone from blogland, not just one of our DT
(although we'd be delighted if we were your favourite!! LOL)

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

Using Wee Stamps Xmas Hamster
Selecting just one favourite designer for my project was nearly impossible.  It took me just as long as making the actual project, but after a lot of pondering, Dena is the person I've chosen to case.
Although it is her DI painting skills that I usually aspire to, I think what snagged it was a Christmas Planner that she made recently.  It was something that I wanted to make as soon as I saw it.

I case'd Jen @ The Tiny Blue Butterfly
Here is the card I case'd
Jen is one of many favourite Designers.
There are soooo many but I love Jen's style and also her awesome ideas.
She does many different styles, but I love her C&S the best!

Carol
Well I didn't have to think twice about who's card I was going to CASE. This lady introduced me to a whole new world in crafting. It's Kath from that famous Cubbyhole up in Aberdeenshire. Have met her many times and is such an inspiration. Love her style and witty posts.
You can find here card here. Loved the layout on this one.

Mojca
Oh I just admire Teresa's criss cross cards. They are so elegant and I just have to give it a try myself.

Sarah

I "pinched" my card from here

Creations by Bearhouse
Sue just "knows" what works...that's why she is a favourite of mine!

Suzette

**coming soon**

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite designer.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.

The prize is a fabulous 3 digi images of the winner's choice.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using

your Favourite Sketch & Why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

using Mia

I've got a couple of layouts that I return to regularly, but the sketch I've used most often, even months after I found it, is the one I've used today.

I love it because it is actually really simple, although it gives lots of layers.
It's a bit old and I got it from Creative Craft Challenges in February 2013.

Well you know me by now right? I love making Christmas cards so the sketch
I have used a sketch from Christmas Challenges with Sketches.
I have flipped and turned the sketch to suit my needs, but by keeping my card fairly C&S you can see the sketch clearly, I LOVE their sketches, you will have to visit their blog to see the sketch as they require that we do not share the sketch photo from their blog :)

Carol using Mia

I have a folder full of sketches from one challenge or another, but I also like making up my own. So I decided to use one I made up, and for a change I went for a rectangular sketch.  It's also a bigger card for someone special.  I love the challenge of matching colours and papers for all the layers.

Mojca
using Amy on the Cloud

I love My Favourite Things sketches. They use such simple layouts that are always so effective.

Sarah

I used the sketch below and turned it so that the sentiment was bottom right instead of top left. I have found this sketch a favourite for tall images and the proportions always look just right!!

Suzette

I decided to go all blue with this card, I love sketches they all help you to create the best cards you can and CLP sketches are easy to follow.

So now it's over to you.

We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Sketch.

DON'T FORGET TO TELL US WHY YOU LIKE THE SKETCH

Good luck, and happy crafting.

The winner will be drawn at random from all entries that qualify for the theme.

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
your Favourite Project that is not a Card & Why.
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Here are the beautiful creations made by our Design Team to get your mojo flowing:

I love Christmas (like Samantha) and I've loved making these cracker boxes this year.
(I have made a few now!)
They can be used as actual crackers, or just gift boxes.
I love this little Penny Black critter too.
I've had him for years, and he's remained a firm favourite that I keep going back to every year.

Samantha
My favourite Not a card and why?
I LOVE Christmas (just in case you did not know that already) soooo I have chosen to make one
of these Christmas Cone trees. I have wanted to do a cone since last year, so when I went on a work trade workshop a couple of weekends ago I was soooo happy to make one, so I guess its my favourite not a card item.

Carol
Love making Christmas gift bags for that special pressy and can keep them and take them out and use again! Hubby's one comes out every year and always comments what a lovely job I make of it lol!
I am naughty arn't I.

Mojca
I just love making little boxes and small projects, so this theme is just made for me :P
So of course I decided to make a little wedding box with candles.
It just makes me smile.

Sarah
My favourite "Not a card" is a cupcake. Hands up if you don't love a cupcake!
It's useful too because you can put a little pressie in it!!

Suzette
Well I drew this image and thought it would look well on a 3D project so this is a perfect
challenge for it.

So now it's over to you.
We hope you will join in our challenge, show us your style and
showcase your Favourite Project that is not a Card.

And pleeeeeeeeease, don't forget to tell us WHY you love it so much.

Good luck, and happy crafting.
Hugs from the AYLI girls.
